June 29, 2016 - "WHOLENESS AND FREEDOM!"

 “Prayer does not change God,
but it changes him who prays.”

―Soren Kierkegaard

"Amen." Matthew 6:13

"This is the Truth and it is now done." Eric Butterworth, Discover The Power Within You

"Knowing the fruit of virtue assigned to knowledge of sacred lore, to sacrifices, to penances, and to acts of charity, the man of discipline transcends all this and ascends to the place of pure beginning." Bhagavad-Gita 8:28

"These seeds are working in us to transform us completely. That which has quickened our souls and given us the joyous sense of freedom will work in every cell of our bodies to give them that same wonderful sense of wholeness and freedom." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You

"Know the bright and keep to the obscure. Become an example for the world. Being an example for the world is eternal power and returning to the infinite." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 28
"Whenever we wholly merge our mind with creative Mind we meet Christ in our consciousness, and it is when we are in this consciousness that our prayers are fulfilled." Charles Fillmore, Teach Us To Pray

This month we contemplate Jesus' formula or model for prayer given in the Gospel of Matthew 6:9-13. Understood as affirmative statements of our belief in the One Infinite Divine Spirit, our relationship to Spirit and our desire to be pure channels for the physical expression of the One, we confirm our willingness to participate in the process of Divine Manifestation and we give praise and thanksgiving in advance of the demonstration.

Our daily practice is one of centering ourselves in an awareness of the Infinite Unlimited Eternal Presence and Power that we call God. From this awareness of Pure Being, we call forth Divine Love and Wisdom to be our guide in all that we say and do. We give thanks in advance of the demonstration knowing that all that we have received in prayer will inevitably work out into manifestation.

Please affirm with us, "With God as my Source, all that I need and desire is readily provided!"

Thank you God, Thank you God, Thank you God!

For so it is and so it shall be, Amen!

June 22, 2016 - "HEART PRAYER!"

 “It is better in prayer
to have a heart without words
than words without a heart.”

―Mahatma Gandhi

"For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, for ever." Matthew 6:13
"It is a suitable and quite effective closing, especially when we get into the consciousness of the affirmative mood of the whole prayer. It is a very important statement of humility and faith." Eric Butterworth, Discover The Power Within You
"If I am in your thought, by my grace you will transcend all dangers." Bhagavad-Gita 18:58
"When we have found the kingdom of God and the richness of it, we come into touch with the allness of the one Ruler whose throne is within. Then we have no more trouble about things. Things come just as naturally as the planted seed grows." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You

"Therefore the wise lead by keeping their hearts pure, their bellies full, their ambitions weak, and their bones strong, so that the people may be purified of their thoughts and desires; and the cunning ones will not interfere. By acting without interfering, all may live in peace." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 3
"In this spiritual silence man's realization is established in his heart and he has the assurance that his prayer is answered and that the law of demonstration brings forth the fruit." Charles Fillmore, Teach Us To Pray

"Mastering their senses, with equanimity toward everything, they reach me, rejoicing in the welfare of all creatures." Bhagavad-Gita 12:4

"Forgiveness is the art of putting something else in place of the thing forgiven. You put the positive realization of the Truth of Being in place of the appearance of negation and adversity which your senses and your intellectual training report." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You

"Why did the ancients prize this Way? Did they not say, 'Seek, and you will find; let go, and you will be forgiven.' Therefore the Way is valued by the world." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 62

"As soon as we let go and recognize that the way of Spirit is the way of pleasantness, we have been forgiven our sins. The mental attitude has invited the word of God, and it flows forth into our consciousness and erases the erroneous concepts.” Charles Fillmore, Teach Us To Pray

"Leave us not in temptation, but deliver us from evil." Matthew 6:13

"There are four supremes in the universe, and the person is one of them. The person reflects the earth. The earth reflects heaven. Heaven reflects the Way. And the Way reflects its own nature." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 25

"Omnipresence is that spiritual realm which can be penetrated only through the most highly accelerated mind action, as in prayer. Thus in unfolding this inner kingdom we are dealing with a reality beyond the ordinary comprehension of man.” Charles Fillmore, Teach Us To Pray

"(You) Give us this day our daily bread." Matthew 6:11

June 1, 2016 - "PRAY LIKE THIS!"

“The function of prayer
is not to influence God, but rather

"When we pray together in omnipresence, we lose sight of everything but the one Presence; we recognize only the spiritual Source of all things. In the full understanding and use of this Source is all that our souls have longed for." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You

but returns to the root from which it springs." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 16

"Omnipresence is that spiritual realm which can be penetrated only through the most highly accelerated mind action, as in prayer. Thus in unfolding this inner kingdom we are dealing with a reality beyond the ordinary comprehension of man.” Charles Fillmore, Teach Us To Pray

Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You

"Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5:10

We hunger and thirst for the right use of our spiritual faculties. We strive to be holy perfect expressions of the One.

This month we meditate on the spiritual principle of Being. The Beatitudes, Matthew 5:3-10, are attitudes for being happy. Here Jesus laid down 8 statements that which can lead toward fulfillment and satisfaction in living.

Our daily practice continues to be one of self-observation; We observe our sense of Being this day. When have I been happy, sad, optimistic, pessimistic, joyous or depressed? What was my awareness of Being that created those states?

We can choose again, to have a new thought. We can think again and recognize the presence and power of the Divine here and now, wherever and whenever we are.

Please affirm with us, "I am one with the Infinite Spirit of light and love; I realize my unity in the One; I am happy, healthy, whole and free, just as God created me to be!"

Thank you God, Thank you God, Thank you God!

For so it is and so it shall be, Amen!

"The strategists say, "Do not be the aggressor but the defender. Do not advance an inch, but retreat a foot instead." Thus when the battle is joined, it is the kind who will win." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 69
"In the second baptism, the creative law of divine affirmation, set into action by Mind, lights its fires at the center of man's being, and when thus kindled raises soul and body to a high degree of purity. This process is known as regeneration.” Fillmore, Dynamics For Living

"The Way never interferes, yet through it everything is done. If leaders would follow the Way, the world would be reformed of its own accord." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 37

"Go into all the world and proclaim the good news to the whole creation." Mark 16:15

This month we meditate on the spiritual principle of Healing and Wholeness. Spiritual Healing, as practiced by Jesus and others, works from three basic premises: 1- The individual is whole and complete just as they are; there is nothing to fix. 2 - The Divine (Christ) within each individual desires perfect expression and 3 - Guidance is not rationally or logically determined but is intuitively directed.

Our daily practice continues to be one of self-observation; We watch for negative, destructive, thoughts and feelings quickly releasing and letting go of the power we are giving to these thoughts and feelings. "I release you and let you go; I let God be God in me; I am healed and made whole!"

We can choose again, to have a new thought. We can think again and recognize the presence and power of the Divine here and now, wherever and whenever we are.

Please affirm with us, "God is my wholeness; I am happy, healthy, whole and free, just as God created me to be; I am divinely guided to experience perfect wholeness!"

Thank you God, Thank you God, Thank you God!

For so it is and so it shall be, Amen!

"Not by its rising, is it bright, nor by its sinking, is it dark. Infinite and eternal, it cannot be defined. It returns to nothingness. This is the form of the formless, being in non-being. It is nebulous and elusive." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 14

"To be lost is simply to be unconscious of the divine perfection in man. This state of consciousness is ignorance, darkness, dissatisfaction, fear, and all that is pictured by the word hell.” Charles Fillmore, Dynamics For Living

God will establish order within and without. God's law of equalization is effective everywhere." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You
"There is something mysterious and whole which existed before heaven and earth, silent, formless, complete, and never changing. Living eternally everywhere in perfection, it is the mother of all things. I do not know its name; I call it the Way." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 25

Ephesians 4:15-16
