 June 28,2017 : "DIVINE SIGHT!"

"If a man can control his mind
he can find the way to Enlightenment,
and all wisdom and virtue
will naturally come to him. "
~ Buddha

"Let anyone among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” John 8:7

"Jesus' going up into the Mount of Olives means the soul's ascending to the state of consciousness where absolute Truth is manifest and from this high vantage point teaching a lesson in brotherly love to the intellectual faculties. Sometimes the intellectual faculties imagine they are in supreme authority, as in this case, where the woman caught in adultery is presented as an example....The intellectual faculties, thus trapped in their own conceit, slink away." Charles Fillmore, Mysteries of John 84

"All creatures are bewildered at birth by the delusion of opposing dualities that arise from desire and hatred. But when they cease from evil and act with virtue, they devote themselves to me firm in their vow, freed from the delusion of duality." Bhagavad-Gita 7:27-28

"Seeing is a mental process and the eyes are the instruments which register what the mind has been trained to think and to behold. When your mental processes are in perfectly harmonious accord with the ideas of Divine Mind, your sight is perfect and your eyes function properly with nothing to hinder." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You 120

"Those who take over the world and act upon it, I notice, do not succeed. The world is a sacred vessel, not to be tampered with. Those who tamper with it, spoil it. Those who seize it, lose it. Some lead, and some follow. Some blow hot, and some blow cold. Some are strong, and some are weak. Some are up, and some are down. Therefore the wise avoid excess, extravagance, and pride." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 29

"Those who are called upon to enter the kingdom of God may not always recognize what is happening to them. At first the approach of the kingdom may seem like a violent attack from something dark and dreadful, for when the kingdom descends upon us, the first experience is often a darkening of our old state of mind in order that a new consciousness may emerge." John Sanford, The Kingdom Within, 47

"Neither do I condemn you. Go your way, and from now on do not sin again.” John 8:10

We continue our meditations on the miracles or 'signs' that are found in the Gospel of John, the Gospel of Transformation. This month we look at the healing of the man born blind, the fifth 'sign', in chapter nine. By chapter eight, Jesus is declaring "I am the light of the world." The name of God is "I am." Exodus 3:14. God in us is the light of the world. When we look outside our selves for God we see only darkness for it is within our own consciousness of the presence of God where we see the light; we know the light; we are the light!

This month we release the outer darkness of error consciousness and realize the inner light of spiritual awareness. Wherever God is; I am. The light of God shines brightly within our awareness of our spiritual resources. We are radiating centers of light and love, mighty to attract our good and to radiate good to others.

Please affirm with us, “I am a radiating center of light and love, mighty to attract my good and to radiate good to others!”

Thank you God, Thank you God, Thank you God!

For so it is and so it shall be, Amen!

June 21, 2017 - "DELUSIONS END!"

"Not creating delusions
is enlightenment."
~ Bodhidharma

"Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgement.’” John 7:24

"Jesus realized that man's real thirst is for Spirit and that this thirst can only be quenched through an outpouring of the Holy Spirit within the soul, which thrills one with new life and energy and vitality." Charles Fillmore, Mysteries of John 81

"Men without understanding think that I am unmanifest nature become manifest; they are ignorant of my higher existence, my pure, unchanging absolute being. Veiled in the magic of my discipline, I elude most men; this deluded world is not aware that I am unborn and immutable." Bhagavad-Gita 7:24-25

"Two thousand years ago there came a manifestation of human life so conversant with the great Causing Power of life that He called that power "Father"... He was a fearless teacher of Truth. He spent his ministry freeing mankind from delusions." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You 23-24

"The wise are good at helping people, and consequently no one is rejected. They are good at saving things, and consequently nothing is wasted. This is called using the Light. Therefore the good teach the bad, and the bad are lessons for the good. Those who neither value the teacher nor care for the lesson are greatly deluded, though they may be learned. Such is the essential mystery." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 27

"People hate and fear individuality, with its demands for freedom and consciousness, and so they reject the kingdom of God... entrance into the kingdom requires the disidentification with the group and the assumption of the burden of being a person." John Sanford, The Kingdom Within, 45-46

"Out of the believer’s heart shall flow rivers of living water.” John 7:38

June 14, 2017 - "DIVINE BEAUTY!"

"Never lose an opportunity
of seeing anything beautiful,
for beauty is God's handwriting."
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

"Neither this man nor his parents sinned; he was born blind so that God’s works might be revealed (made manifest) in him.” John 9:3

"The works of God that we are to make manifest are the perfect ideas of a perfect-man idea in Divine Mind... We are to bring forth in ourselves the perfection of Being." Charles Fillmore, Mysteries of John 97

"My nature has eight aspects: earth, water, fire, wind, space, mind, understanding, and individuality. This is my lower nature: know my higher nature too. the life-force that sustains this universe." Bhagavad-Gita 7:4-5

"Look at your arms and hands: they are God's, and He has continued to dwell in them and sustain them all during these years. Your head is wonderfully poised, so that you may look about and see the beauty and power and life and light of God manifested in His creation everywhere." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You 102-3

"There is something mysterious and whole which existed before heaven and earth, silent, formless, complete, and never changing. Living eternally everywhere in perfection, it is the mother of all things. I do not know its name; I call it the Way." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 25

"There is an inner reality within each of us that is like a great treasure lying hidden in the field of our soul waiting to be discovered. Someone who finds this inner treasure, and recognizes its value, will happily give up all other goals and ambitions in order to make it real in his or her life." John Sanford, The Kingdom Within, 26

"As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” John 9:5

June 7, 2017 - "BE THE LIGHT!"

"Vision
is the art of seeing
what is invisible to others."
~Jonathan Swift

"He spat on the ground and made mud with the saliva and spread the mud on the man’s eyes, saying to him, ‘Go, wash in the pool of Siloam’ (which means Sent). Then he went and washed and came back able to see.” John 9:6-7

"In this whole chapter the Christ is declaring, "I am the light of the world." When our blind, stumbling thoughts awaken to the reality of the Christ, darkness falls away and we see clearly." Charles Fillmore, Mysteries of John 96

"I will teach you the totality of knowledge and judgment; this known, nothing else in the world need be known." Bhagavad-Gita 7:2

"By seeing only the Christ in all people, we not only strengthen our own spiritual consciousness but help all whom we contact to realize and express their innate divinity." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You 78

"Those who stand on tiptoe are not steady. Their strides cannot long keep up the pace. Those who display themselves do not illuminate. Those who justify themselves are not distinguished. Those who make claims are not given credit. Those who seek glory are not leaders. According to the Way these are like extra food and waste, which all creatures detest. Therefore followers of the Way avoid them." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 24

"Those who do enter the kingdom are those who have come to recognize the reality of the inner world and to respond to its demands upon them for consciousness." John Sanford, The Kingdom Within, 45

"One thing I do know, that though I was blind, now I see..” John 9:25

May 31, 2017 - "SPIRIT AND LIFE!"

"When a well-packaged web of lies
has been sold gradually to the masses
over generations, the truth will seem
utterly preposterous
and its speaker a raving lunatic."
~Dresden James

"The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.” John 6:63

"This spiritual man or Christ or Word of God is the true inner self of every individual. Man therefore contains within himself the capacities of Being, and through his words uses the creative principle in forming his environment, good or bad. So we make our own heaven or hell." Charles Fillmore, Mysteries of John 76

"A man who seeks to learn discipline passes beyond sacred lore that expresses the infinite spirit in words." Bhagavad-Gita 6:44

"There is no right foundation thought but the true thought of Creator, creation, and existence. God is Creator. We are creation. We exist or show forth our Creator. We are not showing forth, therefore, except as we show forth good. We show forth good by our word." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You 35

"Nature says few words. A whirlwind does not last all morning, nor does a rainstorm last a whole day. What causes them? Nature. If even Nature's utterances do not last long, how much less should human beings'?" Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 22

"Light does not remove darkness. Its presence proves that there is no darkness." Joel Goldsmith, The Altitude of Prayer, 52

"Because of this many of his disciples turned back and no longer went about with him.” John 6:66

The fourth miracle or sign recorded in the Gospel of John is the feeding of the five thousand recorded in the sixth chapter. Whether you believe Jesus manifested bread and fish out of thin air or realize that people would not wander out into the wilderness without provisions and were prompted into sharing by the boy's generosity, this 'sign' was significant enough to be recorded in all four Gospels. It's importance lies in our realization of God as the substance of all our needed good and elevating our awareness above the material realm of appearances.

When we enter into spiritual consciousness, the Christ or Father within, we are able to see beyond the appearances of lack and limitation and to know the abundance of God Substance that we live and move and have our existence in. Gratitude is the natural outpouring of this awareness of God's great good flowing through out our lives. God is great and I am grateful!

Please affirm with us, “I am one with the greatness of God! I am filled with gratitude for God’s miracle working power active in my life, right now! My life is transformed in light and love!”

Thank you God, Thank you God, Thank you God!

For so it is and so it shall be, Amen!

May 24, 2017 - "OUR SPIRITUAL SOURCE!"

"It is not a sign of good health
to be well adjusted to a sick society."
~J. Krishnamurti

"I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” John 6:35

"Man is to believe in the spiritual presence of the living God even as one "sent"; that is, entered into the consciousness. All shall attain who believe or have faith in the spiritual source of life." Charles Fillmore, Mysteries of John 74

"I exist in all creatures, so the disciplined man devoted to me grasps the oneness of life; wherever he is, he is in me." Bhagavad-Gita 6:31

"I consider this the secret of my success in healing: the spiritual revelation that God is in actuality our Father, the Source of our life and the Substance of our bodies. As soon as I saw this truth I realized that He who created us and who continues to sustain us is also patterning us after His own perfect Ideas -- and that whatever He has created, He can restore!" Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You 135

"All-embracing power proceeds only through the Way. What is called the Way is elusive and intangible. Intangible and elusive, yet within it are thought-images. Elusive and intangible, yet within it are objects. Deep and obscure, yet within it is the life-force. The life-force is very real, and within it is certainty." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 21

"It is only the life of contemplation that enables us to meet God within our own consciousness and to live the spiritual life, showing forth the fruitage in happier relationships, in greater abundance of tangible supply, and in a greater degree of health." Joel Goldsmith, The Altitude of Prayer, 48

"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day.” John 6:44

For so it is and so it shall be, Amen!

May 17, 2017 - "MOTHER SUBSTANCE!"

"He is a wise man who
does not grieve for the things which he has not,
but rejoices for those which he has.”

– Epictetus

"Very truly, I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate your fill of the loaves. Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures for eternal life,” John 6:26-27

"In the universal Mind principle, which Jesus called "the Father," there is a substance that also includes the mother or seed of all visible substance. It is the only real substance because it is unchangeable, while the visible substance is in constant transition." Charles Fillmore, Mysteries of John 69

"Disciplining himself, his mind controlled, a man of discipline finds peace, the pure calm that exists in me.," Bhagavad-Gita 6:15

"The Christ ideas are becoming organic; that is, they are causing the pure life and substance of Spirit to manifest in every nerve, cell, and fiber of your body temple. Your mind and your body are being transformed and spiritualized because you are getting new "furnishings." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You 63

"Abandon wisdom and discard cleverness, and people will benefit a hundredfold. Abandon humanity and discard morality, and people will rediscover love and duty. Abandon skill and discard profit, and there will be no thieves or robbers. These three things relate to externals and are inadequate. People need what they can depend on: reveal simplicity; embrace the natural; control selfishness; reduce desires." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 19

"All the joys of spiritual being are embodied in us for sharing. That is why we are on earth." Joel Goldsmith, The Altitude of Prayer, 37

"For the bread of God is that which comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” John 6:33

May 10, 2017 - "A GRATEFUL MIND!"

"A grateful mind is a great mind
which eventually attracts to itself great things.”
– Plato

"So they gathered them up, and from the fragments of the five barley loaves, left by those who had eaten, they filled twelve baskets.” John 6:13

"If you have a consciousness of the capacity that is involved in the natural man's sevenfold nature, you have a good foundation on which to build the twelvefold or spiritual man." Charles Fillmore, Mysteries of John 69

"The higher self of a tranquil man whose self is mastered is perfectly poised in cold or heat, joy or suffering, honor or contempt." Bhagavad-Gita 6:7

"Once you become master of yourself, you will not stir up a dust cloud of negativeness when you discover some hidden corner in your mind that needs to be free. In the old days you had to use the broom; now you may use a vacuum cleaner and avoid stirring up large quantities of dust. So you are learning how to use your mental vacuum cleaner in your overcoming and making things easier and more pleasant for those about you." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You 62

"The best leaders the people barely know. The next best they love and praise. The next they fear. And the next they hate. Those who lack trust will not be trusted. Then they resort to promises. But when they accomplish their task and complete their work, the people say, 'We did it ourselves."' Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 17

"From now on we are not receivers: we are transparencies through which the grace of God flows." Joel Goldsmith, The Altitude of Prayer, 35

"I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” John 6:35

May 3, 2017 - "GOD SUBSTANCE!"

“If the only prayer you said in your whole life was,
“thank you,”
that would suffice.”

– Meister Eckhart

"Then Jesus took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed them to those who were seated; so also the fish, as much as they wanted." John 6:11

"We increase our vitality by blessing and giving thanks in spirit." Charles Fillmore, Mysteries of John 67

"Action is the means for a sage who seeks to mature in discipline; tranquility is the means for one who is mature in discipline." Bhagavad-Gita 6:3

"Heaven and earth listen and respond to the soul that is quickened into praise and thanksgiving." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You 176

"Whoever knows the eternal is open to everything. Whoever is open to everything is impartial. To be impartial is to be universal. To be universal is to be in accord with heaven. To be in accord with heaven is to be in accord with the Way. To be in accord with the Way is to be eternal and to live free from harm even though the body dies." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 16

"Through prayer we make contact with the Spirit within and thus we commune with our Source and bring forth spiritual fruitage." Joel Goldsmith, The Altitude of Prayer, 35

April 26, 2017 - "HEALING SCIENCE!"

“Science without religion is lame,
religion without science is blind. ”
~ Albert Einstein

"Jesus said to them, ‘Very truly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing on his own, but only what he sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, the Son does likewise.'" John 5:19

"What men need above all else in this day is more wisdom, more discretion, in the use of the life they have... Death came into our world through the ignorant use of life, and death can be put out only by a wise use of life." Charles Fillmore, Mysteries of John 62

"He should not rejoice in what he loves nor recoil from what disgusts him; secure in understanding, undeluded, knowing the infinite spirit, he abides in it. Detached from external contacts, he discovers joy in himself; joined by discipline to the infinite spirit, the self attains inexhaustible joy." Bhagavad-Gita 5:20-21

"We are studying spiritual science to get a broader conception of God, rather than holding to the view that He is a personal being with parts like man, a being subject to change and capable of varying moods. Though personal to each one of us, God is IT," neither male nor female, but Principle. God is not a cold, senseless principle like that of mathematics, but the Principle of life, love, and Intelligence." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You 19

"Empty yourself of everything. Maintain a steady serenity. All things take shape and become active, but I see them return to their source, like vegetation that grows and flourishes, but returns to the root from which it springs. Returning to the source is serenity; it is to realize one's destiny. To realize one's destiny is to know the eternal. To know the eternal is to be enlightened." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 16

"Our praying really is a recognition of the fact that we have wandered into a far country and that we are trying to find our way back home. Therefore, if there is to be any begging or pleading, it is only 'Father, awaken me.'" Joel Goldsmith, The Altitude of Prayer, 22

"How can you believe when you accept glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the one who alone is God?” John 5:44

This month we continue our contemplations on the Gospel of John, the Gospel of Transformation, and the seven signs or miracles that form its framework. The healing of the man at Bethzatha (Bethesda), the third sign, evidences our new relationship with the world and sense consciousness. Here there were five porches or porticos where healing arts were practiced and a natural spring or pool that people would rush to when it bubbled.

Jesus, spiritual consciousness, entered into this five sense conscious realm of existence to raise us up to a greater level of awareness. An awareness for the possibilities of being healed from our belief in lack and limitation, to live in an awareness of the all-sufficiency of God. We join with the Master Teacher and are willing to believe in the healing, harmonizing, prospering presence and power of God.

Please affirm with us, "I am one with the transcendent life of God. I live peace, joy and fulfillment!"

Thank you God, Thank you God, Thank you God!

For so it is and so it shall be, Amen!

April 19, 2017 - "HEALING TIME!"

“Our greatest glory
is not in never falling,
but in rising every time we fall.”
~ Confucius

"Now that day was a sabbath. So the Jews said to the man who had been cured, ‘It is the sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your mat.’" John 5:9-10

"These particular Jews had no understanding of the real "sabbath," which is a state of consciousness attained through meditation and the realization that the law is fulfilled in both thought and act." Charles Fillmore, Mysteries of John 59

"A man who sees inaction in action and action in inaction has understanding among men, disciplined in all action he performs." Bhagavad-Gita 5:18

"None of us has learned to abide in the Christ consciousness continuously, but the times we do rise into it keep us growing and overcoming and establishing more and more of its Truth in our lives." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You 84

"Who can make sense of a muddy world? Let it be still, and it becomes clear.." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 15

"Grace is God's gift established within each and every one of us, which we receive when we are empty." Joel Goldsmith, The Altitude of Prayer, 18

"But Jesus answered them, ‘My Father is still working, and I also am working.’” John 5:17

April 12, 2017 - "HEALING ACTION!"

“It is the chiefest point of happiness
that a man is willing to be what he is.”
~ Desiderius Erasmus

"Jesus said to him, ‘Stand up, take your mat and walk.’ " John 5:8

"Thus we see that the work of the Spirit is not confined to physical activities, although it does not ignore them... Do not be limited by so-called established laws of nature." Charles Fillmore, Mysteries of John 58

"Relinquishing the fruit of action, the disciplined man attains perfect peace." Bhagavad-Gita 5:12

"The good that manifests for us is simply the result of the action of our own good thoughts and faith -- without any personal effort outwardly." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You 150

"Meet it, and you do not see its beginning. Follow it, and you do not see its end. Stay with the ancient Way in order to master what is present. Knowing the primeval beginning is the essence of the Way." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 14

"All that God is doing today, God has been doing always, and will always continue to do because the nature of God is Is. God is -- not God was, and not God will be: God is. It is as if we were to say the sunshine is. We do not pray for it to come in. We open the windows and the shades, and let it in." Joel Goldsmith, The Altitude of Prayer, 16

"At once the man was made well, and he took up his mat and began to walk.” John 5:9

April 5, 2017 - "WILLING HEALING!"

the god's join in.”
~ Aeschylus

"Wilt thou be made whole?" John 5:6 KJV

"This willingness to give up the natural man to the divine is a most propitious sign in one who is in the regenerative process." Charles Fillmore, Mysteries of John 19

"The man of eternal renunciation is one who neither hates nor desires; beyond dualities, he is easily freed from bondage." Bhagavad-Gita 5:3

"Gradually the teaching can lead the child more and more to understand that every good thing comes from the Father, but always faith and willingness to receive are the conditions under which our prayers are brought into visible answer." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You 183

"Great trouble comes from being selfish. Being selfless, what trouble is there? Therefore those who value the world as themselves may be entrusted to govern the world. Those who love the world as themselves may be entrusted to care for the world." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 13

"So, rightly understood, prayer is any attitude that opens us to receptivity to God's grace." Joel Goldsmith, The Altitude of Prayer, 4

"I believe; help my unbelief!” Mark 9:24
