"The only true wisdom
is in knowing you know nothing"

Socrates

"Knowing others is wisdom, knowing yourself is enlightenment" Lao Tzu

"The treatment, then, is to turn one's attention to God, the indwelling Lord, with the happy assurance that all old, disappointing things are dropping away and the healing, peace-giving, joy-filling, prospering ideas of God's love, life, and substance are filling the mind and heart, quickening new energies in the body." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You

"Wisdom includes judgment, discrimination, intuition, and all the departments of mind that come under the head of knowing," Charles Fillmore, Twelve Powers of Man

"Let us begin to think of Wisdom as an ability to gather and to use knowledge in ways which will produce peace and comfort for us and for the world in which we move." Ella Pomeroy, Powers of the Soul

"What supreme tranquility we have when we are conscious that our thought is God's thought through us; our act, our word, God's act and word through us!... God becomes wisdom to you, ever revealing to your waiting soul more and more of Himself, giving you new and clear visions of Truth." H. Emilie Cady, How I Used Truth

"When I was a teenager I knew everything. As I have gained experience, the more I know that I don't know. Eventually I will know that I know nothing. This is the height of wisdom and enlightenment. Then I will know God, for God is no thing." Matthew E. Long

Today we continue to awaken to our Spiritual Faculty of Wisdom. Wisdom is a power, or spiritual faculty, that is inherent within us. We have Wisdom; our wisdom expresses in proportion to our beliefs about ourselves and our willingness to connect with the greater reality, God, through the Holy Spirit: "the activity of God-Mind in the consciousness of man" (Myrtle Fillmore.)

We continue daily with our self-observations: How have I been expressing my wisdom faculty today? When have I felt connected, confident and assured? When have I felt otherwise. Where was I looking for guidance: in the outer, personal, sense conscious or in the inner, trans-personal, spirit conscious? We continue to choose again. We choose to go forward with confident assurance that we are divinely guided, directed and protected in all that we do and say this day.

Please continue to affirm with us, "God is my Wisdom, I choose wise and right action; I am open, receptive and responsive to the Infinite Spirit of Light and Love; I now choose to be happy, healthy, whole and free, just as God created me to be!"

"No problem can be solved
from the same level of consciousness
that created it."

Albert Einstein

"If you want spiritual unfoldment and growth in the knowledge of God, you must think spiritual thoughts -- God thoughts -- and give your attention, which is your life, to God rather than to limitation." Emmet Fox, The Sermon on the Mount

"When the word of God is kept constantly in the heart there is no place for error. Sure healing is attained by him who ever keeps the portal of his thought guarded by these two angels: denial and affirmation." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You

"Intuition, judgment, wisdom, justice, discernment, pure knowing, and profound understanding are natural to man. All these qualities, and many more, belong to every one of us by and through his divine sonship." Charles Fillmore, Twelve Powers of Man

"It is not the wisdom of man that creates and establishes worlds, holds the skies in order and brings the seasons in their time. It is the Wisdom of God which achieves these things and He has, by creating us in His image, laid His Wisdom open to us. Again, we need to remind ourselves that Wisdom is the right application of knowledge -- not the knowledge itself." Ella Pomeroy, Powers of the Soul

"This matter of trusting the Christ within to do all things for us, realizing that we are one with Him and that to Him is given all power, is not something which comes to any of us spontaneously. It comes by persistent effort on our part. We begin by determining that we will trust Him as our present deliverance, as our health, our riches, our wisdom, our all, and we keep on by a labored effort, until we form a kind of spiritual habit." H. Emilie Cady,How I Used Truth

"He lives in Wisdom
who sees himself in all
and all in him."

The Bhagavad-Gita 2:55
Eknath Easwaran's version

On that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.”John 14:20

"All of us sooner or later come to the place in our development where we are no longer satisfied to go on living the old life, without the knowledge of our oneness with God, the Source of our being." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You

"An analysis of man in his threefold nature reveals that on every plane there is a certain reflective and discerning power of the mind and its thoughts. In the body, conclusions are reached through experience; in intellect, reason is the assumed arbiter of every question; in Spirit, intuition and inspiration bring the quick and sure answer to all the problems of life." Charles Fillmore, Twelve Powers of Man

"We become balanced souls, of sound judgement because we have cast away our prejudices and have become willing to let the Wisdom of God rule us." Ella Pomeroy,Powers of the Soul

"The revelations which the Spirit of Truth will make to you when you have withdrawn from all outside sources and learned to listen to the voice in your own soul, will be such as to make you know, no longer believe, your oneness with the Father and with all His children. They will be such as to fill you with great joy." H. Emilie Cady, How I Used Truth

"A middle path, O monks avoiding the two extremes,
has been discovered by the one who has found the truth
-a path which opens the eyes, and bestows understanding,
which leads to peace of mind, to the higher wisdom, to full enlightenment, to Nirvana!"
Buddha, The Sermon at Benares

For God’s foolishness is wiser than human wisdom, and God’s weakness is stronger than human strength.1Cor 1:25

"At times the soul will reveal to us conditions that are wholly at variance with the reports of the senses and intellect, yet more real and substantial than any of these. Hence, if you would know the perfect relation of all things in the universe, cultivate the soul." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You

"When we awaken to the reality of our being, the light begins to break upon us from within and we know the truth... We no longer accept the race standards or the teachings of the worldly wise, but we 'judge with righteous judgement' and we judge men and events from a new viewpoint." Charles Fillmore, Twelve Powers of Man

"When our interest in a matter of study or of conduct has been thoroughly aroused and we are moved to do positive, clear-cut things about it, we may also observe that a discrimination, an unusual power of discernment, comes to us and we, almost without thought, do the right thing." Ella Pomeroy, Powers of the Soul

"We must put aside all preconceived opinions of the Truth, either our own or any other person's, and with receptive souls opened toward the source of all light, say continually, "Lord, teach me." We must become as babes in human wisdom before we can enter into the deep things of God." H. Emilie Cady, Lessons in Truth

"Happy are those who find wisdom,
   and those who get understanding,
for her income is better than silver,
and her revenue better than gold."

Proverbs 3:13-14

He who lives in harmony with himself lives in harmony with the universe.”Marcus Aurelius

"The long way, the most difficult way, back to the Father's house is the way of experience. The short-cut is in being receptive and obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit in thought,  word and deed, putting God first in your life." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You

"The more closely one follows the rules in exact sciences, the more easily and successfully one makes the demonstrations. This goes to prove that the nearer one comes to the absolute or cause side of existence, the greater is one's understanding that wisdom and order rule, and that he who joins wisdom and order rules with them." Charles Fillmore, Twelve Powers of Man

"Once we learn to depend upon the Wisdom of God within us, we shall cease our much thinking and try more eagerly just to keep our minds clear for the free operation of the Holy Spirit." Ella Pomeroy, Powers of the Soul

"God is Wisdom or Intelligence. All the wisdom or intelligence we see in the universe is God, is Wisdom projected through a visible form." H. Emilie Cady, Lessons in Truth

Today we awaken to our Spiritual Faculty of Wisdom.

"O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good,
for his steadfast love endures for ever."
Psalm 136:1

Seeing the small is insight; to stay with the gentle is strength. Use the Light, return to insight, and thereby be preserved from harm. This is practicing the eternal.” Lao Tse Tao te Ching 52

"The germ of God-likeness slumbers in us, and it should be our true aim in being to make manifest this perfect Self, or Christ of God, in our lives." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You

"The strength here discussed is not physical strength alone, but mental and spiritual strength. All strength originates in Spirit; and the thought and the word spiritually expressed bring the manifestation." Charles Fillmore, Twelve Powers of Man

"In the MInd of God, Strength is an idea of enduring power, which to us means the continuous and sustained energies with which Creation is projected and maintained." Ella Pomeroy, Powers of the Soul

"It is not until we learn to live at the center and to know that we have power to radiate from that center this unceasing, abundant life, that we are well and strong." H. Emilie Cady, How I Used Truth

Today we continue to awaken to our Spiritual Faculty of Strength. Strength is a power, or spiritual faculty, that is inherent within us. We have strength; our strength expresses in proportion to our beliefs about ourselves. When we rely upon our own limited personal power we feel week and afraid. When we rely upon the greater, divine, power that lives within us we have the strength to endure; we have the strength to conquer, flourish and thrive.

We continue with our self-observation: How have I been expressing my strength faculty today? When have I felt strong, confident and assured? When have I felt otherwise. Where was I placing my faith: in the personal or the divine? We continue to choose again. We choose to go forward with confident assurance that we are divinely guided, directed and protected in all that we do and say this day.

Please continue to affirm with us, "God is my Strength, I am strong, confident and assured; I forgive myself and all others for all the mistakes we have made; I now choose to be happy, healthy, whole and free, just as God created me to be!"

"Other seed fell into good soil
and brought forth grain, growing up
and increasing and yielding
thirty and sixty and a hundredfold."

Mark 4:8

Be intent on action, not on the fruits of action; avoid attraction to the fruits and attachment to inaction,.The Bhagavad-Gita 2:47

"God's perfect idea in me is now building a perfect body, and I am satisfied. As the little germ in the seed brings forth its kind, so in each human being is put the divine image and likeness, the potentiality of bringing forth perfection in mind, body, and affairs." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You

"Evolution is the result of the development of ideas in mind. What we are is the  result of the evolution of our consciousness, and that consciousness is the result of seed ideas sown in our mind." Charles Fillmore, Twelve Powers of Man

"It is possible to free the mind from either fear of or the desire for force by considering Strength as a power constantly flowing into and through man because he is related to the Infinite Spirit and is like that Spirit in his spiritual nature." Ella Pomeroy, Powers of the Soul

"Why, the sun draws the seed up as fast as it can bear it and be strong. We have not got to grow ourselves; only to let the Sun grow us." H. Emilie Cady, Lessons in Truth

"Finally,
be strong in the Lord
and in the strength of his power.
"
Ephesians 6:10

Those who overcome others require force. Those who overcome themselves need strength.” Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 33

"We are indebted to Jesus Christ and His fearless propagation of Truth for our knowledge of this saving science. He demonstrated that sin, sickness, and death are false quantities and are no part of a correct statement of life." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You

"Be steadfast, strong, and steady in thought, and you will establish strength in mind and in body.  Never let the thought of weakness enter your consciousness, but always ignore the suggestion and affirm your self to be a tower of strength, within and without." Charles Fillmore, Twelve Powers of Man

"A man is no stronger than the stream of ideas, words, and acts that express and uphold him; therefore the man who desires to be upheld by life will seek the continuing and right desires, will associate himself with continuing and right ideas, and will seek to speak and act in accordance with what he considers 'the best' ideals of mankind." Ella Pomeroy, Powers of the Soul

"Christ in me is my life, Christ is my health, Christ is my strength, and Christ is perfect; therefore, I am now perfect because He dwelleth in me as perfect life, health, strength" H. Emilie Cady, How I Used Truth

Psalm 28:7

“He conquers who endures.” PersiusRoman satarist

"As we leave old circumstances, beliefs, habits and desires behind, and seek to understand and to enter into and get the blessings out of the larger life which is ever opening to us, we are filled with a sense of peace, freedom, and assurance that all is well." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You

"Supreme strength as demonstrated by Jesus can be attained by one who trusts in Spirit and conserves his vital substance." Charles Fillmore, Twelve Powers of Man

"Strength in Divine Mind, is an idea of endurance... It is a fact that Strength flows to the individual in accordance with the Faith he starts out to express." Ella Pomeroy, Powers of the Soul

"You want to manifest the perfect Christ. Affirm with all your heart and soul and strength that you do so manifest now; that you manifest health and strength and love and truth and power." H. Emilie Cady, How I Used Truth

 "When he entered the house, the blind men came to him;

and Jesus said to them, ‘Do you believe that I am able to do this?’
They said to him, ‘Yes, Lord.’
Then he touched their eyes and said,
‘According to your faith let it be done to you.’
And their eyes were opened."
Matthew 9:28-30

“This firm belief in a superior mind that reveals itself in the world of experience, represents my conception of God.” Albert Einstein, Ideas and Opinions

"God is all-intelligence; there is but the one Mind and in reality there are no separate men and women. A full realization of this great truth would do away with all selfishness, the cause of all the misery of earth.
" Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You

"Faith in the spiritual man quickens spiritual understanding. Peter believed that Jesus was the Messiah; his faith opened his spiritual discernment, and he saw the living Christ back of the personal mask worn by Jesus." Charles Fillmore, Twelve Powers of Man

"Once we connect ourselves clearly in our thought with the Creator of all life, the Giver of all Good, we begin to understand the meaning and value of faith as a power already given to us for use; and we become eager to direct our faith to the achievement of permanent good rather that to immediate and ill-considered satisfaction." Ella Pomeroy, Powers of the Soul

"God, then, is not, as many of us have been taught to believe, a big personage or man residing somewhere in a beautiful region in the sky, called heaven,... God is Spirit, or the Creative Energy which is the cause of all visible things." H. Emilie Cady, Lessons in Truth

Today we continue to awaken to the Spiritual Faculty of Faith. Faith is a power, or spiritual faculty, that is inherent within us. We have faith; our faith is directed by our beliefs. If we believe that 'All (God) is good', then our faith will draw to us opportunities to experience great good.

We continue our self-observation: How have I been expressing my faith faculty today? Have my thoughts and words been positive, uplifting or otherwise. If otherwise, we continue to choose again. We choose to go forward with confident assurance that we are divinely guided, directed and protected in all that we do and say this day.

January 20, 2015

"And to the centurion Jesus said,
‘Go; let it be done for you according to your
faith.’
And the servant was healed in that hour."
Matthew 8:13

"Faith is confidence in the universe that enables one to go forward in the dark." C.G. Jung

"You are now in a country the laws of which you do not know, and all you can do is trust your unseen guide, secure in the thought that if you are faithful all will be well in the end.
" Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You

"There is but one real faith; the avenue of expression (our belief system) determines the character and power of faith." Charles Fillmore, Twelve Powers of Man

"Faith as one of man's spiritual powers is his ability to carve the substance of life into such shapes as he may choose -- consciously or unconsciously." Ella Pomeroy, Powers of the Soul

"Faith is not sight. Is our basic statement, "All is good," founded on principle, or on evidence of the senses? If on principle, then it is immutable, unchangeable." H. Emilie Cady, How I Used Truth

"Now faith is
the assurance of things hoped for,
the conviction of things not seen."

Hebrews 11:1

"faith -- Spiritual assurance; the power to do the seemingly impossible. It is a magnetic power that draws unto us our heart's desire from the invisible substance."  The Revealing Word

"...in the study of metaphysics... Faith ceases to be the vague, illusive quality which traditional Christianity theorizes about, and takes on a strong tangibility. We find that the realm of mind includes a country much more substantial and real than this of matter. In fact, the material world is but a fleeting shadow of the unseen.
" Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You

"When there has been an aspiration and a reaching out for the spiritual life, the faith faculty becomes active in consciousness. The prayer of supplication is impotent -- the prayer of affirmation is immediately effective." Charles Fillmore, Twelve Powers of Man

"In other words, faith takes right hold of the substance of the things desired, and brings into the world of evidence the things which before were not seen. Further speaking of faith Paul says "things which are seen were not made of things which do appear," i. e., things which are seen are not made out of visible things but out of the Invisible. In some way, then, we understand, that whatever we want is in this surrounding Invisible Substance; and Faith is the power which can bring it out into reality to us." H. Emilie Cady, Lessons In Truth

Today we begin to awaken to the Spiritual Faculty of Faith. These Faculties (Twelve Powers of Man) are inherent within us. We have faith; faith is a channel for our expression of the Divine of which we are made in the image and after the likeness: God; the Christ within.

We start by self-observation: How have I been expressing my faith faculty today? Have I been involved in positive, uplifting, creative thinking and feeling? Or, have I been engaged in negative, downtrodden, destructive thoughts and feelings? What ever is, is. We do not compound the negative with blame and shame. Instead we repent (from Meta-noia: to think again with a new level of understanding.) We choose again! We choose the prayer of affirmation.

Please affirm with us, "God is my Faith, I am faith-filled; I forgive myself and all others for all the mistakes we have made; I now choose to be happy, healthy, whole and free, just as God created me to be!"

January 6, 2015

"When they saw the star,
they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy;
and going into the house they saw the child with Mary his mother...
Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts,
gold and frankincense and myrrh."

Matthew 2:10-11

The Wise Men from the east represent; "The stored-up resources of the soul, which rise to the surface when its depths are stirred by a great spiritual revelation." The gifts of the Magi represent, "the inner resources of Spirit, which are open to the Christ Mind. Gold represents the riches of Spirit; frankincense, the beauty of Spirit; myrrh, the eternity of Spirit."  Metaphysical Bible Dictionary

"Because we know that every gift of the Father has its invisible source in Him, we feel that the idea of the Christmas time should be enlarged rather than diminished. We must get away from the belief that our good comes through laborious effort. We must come  to know that all our supply is from the free bounty of God
." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You

Epiphany means to show forth and is defined as "the manifestation of a supernatural or divine reality; any moment of great or sudden revelation."  Traditionally, it is celebrated on January 6th as the day the Magi visited the baby Jesus and presented their gifts.

"...a speck of light shone in the east, the within, revealing to the illumined soul what was taking place. The star is a symbol of potentiality; it represents expanding possibilities... But was the star seen by those who were  not spiritually illumined? No. They had eyes but saw not. Only the illumined, the awakened, could perceive the star of Bethlehem. So the spiritual I AM is often doing a great work in the soul of a man, and the man knows it not.." Charles Fillmore, Teach Us To Pray

Today we awaken to the gifts of Spirit that are inherent within us. We open our hearts and minds to the unlimited possibilities for life and living and we are illumined by the Light of God shining in and through and as us.

We start by releasing our attachments to what was; we release our attachments to what should be; the past is gone, the future is but a dream; the gift is in the now, that is why it is called the present.

Please affirm with us, "With God as my Source, all that I need and desire is readily available to me; I forgive and release myself and all others; I am a new creation in Christ!"
