March 29, 2017: "SPIRIT AND TRUTH!'

“Love is infectious
and the greatest healing energy.”
~ Sai Baba

"God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth." John 4:24

"The soul, by falling into forms of worship, fails to get the true understanding, but the Christ-minded know Spirit. They enter into the consciousness of the formless life and substance and they are satisfied." Charles Fillmore, Mysteries of John 48

"Many forms of sacrifice expand toward the infinite spirit; know that the source of them all is action, and you will be free." Bhagavad-Gita 4:32

"When you realize that Spirit is All, that Truth shall set you free from negative conditions, they all go just where darkness and cold are when driven away by the energies of light and heat: nowhere." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You 36

"The five colors blind the eyes; the five musical tones deafen the ears; the five flavors dull the taste. Racing and hunting madden the mind. Precious goods keep their owners on guard. Therefore the wise satisfy the inner self rather than external senses. They accept the one and reject the other." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 12

"We realize that life as it is meant to be is a consciousness of God. Unless we are awake to the Presence, we are not fully alive." Jim Rosemergy, The Transcendent Life, 53

"But he said to them, ‘I have food to eat that you do not know about.’” John 4:32

The second of the seven signs in the Gospel of John, the Gospel of Transformation, is the healing of the Official's Son. This sign and the related story of the woman at the well evidences to the universal nature of healing, of spirit and truth, for here the healing is for a Gentile not one of the chosen people (Jews.) We are transforming our consciousness from one of separation and division to one of unity and oneness. We are one, one with God and one with all of God's creation.

We humbly accept our role as individual points of awareness in the Mind of God; We humbly enter into an awareness of the infinite, eternal, unlimited presence and power that is God which lives and moves and has its being in us just as we live and move and have our being in it; We humbly know and affirm that all we think, say and do this day is in service to the one presence and power of love, of God!

Please affirm with us, "With God as my light, I am guided into right thoughts, words and deeds!"

Thank you God, Thank you God, Thank you God!

For so it is and so it shall be, Amen!

March 22, 2017: "LIVING WATERS!"

“Healing is a matter of time,
but it is sometimes also
a matter of opportunity.”

 ~ Hippocrates

"If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, 'Give me a drink', you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water." John 4:10

"But when we know the truth about God, that He is an omnipresent Spirit manifesting Himself to our mind when we think of Him as one with us in Spirit and responding to our every thought, then we know Him as He is." Charles Fillmore, Mysteries of John 46

"The infinite spirit is the offering, the oblation it pours into infinite fire, and the infinite spirit can be reached by contemplating its infinite action." Bhagavad-Gita 4:24

"Watch your ideas; see yourself clothed as befits a child of the King, and your house furnished as pleases your ideals. Use the patience, the wisdom, and the assiduity that the farmer employs in his planting and cultivating, and your crop will be as sure as his. The truths that are here spoken are energized by the living Spirit." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You 155

"Clay is molded into a vessel, but the usefulness of the vessel depends on the space where nothing exists. Doors and windows are cut out of the walls of a house, and the usefulness of the house depends on the space where nothing exists. Therefore take advantage of what exists, and use what does not exist." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 11

"Finally in a time of prayer, the answer came. Spirit said to me, 'Unless mystery is a part of your life, I am not a part of your life, for I am mystery." Jim Rosemergy, The Transcendent Life, 29

"Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but those who drink of the water that I will give them will never be thirsty. The water that I will give will become in them a spring of water gushing up to eternal life.” John 4:13-14

March 15, 2017: "SIGNS AND WONDERS!'

“The wish for healing
has always been half of health.”
~ Lucius Annaeus Seneca

"Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe." John 4:48

"The fact is that the healing of the nobleman's son (John 4:46-54) is being duplicated every day of the year by modern followers of Jesus' methods, followers who have numberless absent patients, whom they never see yet whom they heal as effectually as Jesus healed the nobleman's son." Charles Fillmore, Mysteries of John 54

"Free from attraction, fear, and anger, filled with me, dependent on me, purified by the fire of knowledge, many come into my presence." Bhagavad-Gita 4:10

"It is found, in the study of Truth, that these signs do follow those who get the spiritual understanding which comes with a full acceptance of spiritual science." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You 79

"To give birth and to nourish, to give birth without taking possession, to act without obligation, to lead without dominating--- this is mystical power." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 10

"Forgetting ourselves and thinking of others is often enough to activate the mighty forces of Spirit." Jim Rosemergy, The Transcendent Life, 8

"‘Jesus said to him, ‘Go; your son will live.’ The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him and started on his way.” John 4:50

 March 8, 2017: "UNIVERSAL HEALING!"

“The only race I know
is the human one.”
~Albert Einstein

"Now there was a royal official whose son lay ill in Capernaum." John 4:46

"Spiritual healing is so marvelous and so far beyond the range of human explanation that it may appear to be supernatural... there is a universal thought ether that carries the message." Charles Fillmore, Mysteries of John 54

"Though myself unborn, undying, the lord of creatures, I fashion nature, which is mine, and I come into being through my own magic." Bhagavad-Gita 4:6

"You must direct your prayers up -- not up in the skies, but up into God consciousness... and give thanks that God only is expressing and manifesting everywhere in His universe, then you will speedily dissolve the old error beliefs and their counterparts in the manifest world." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You 76

"Stretch a bow to the very full, and you will wish you had stopped in time. Temper a sword-edge to its very sharpest, and the edge will not last long. When gold and jade fill your hall, you will not be able to keep them safe. To be proud with honor and wealth is to cause one's own downfall. Withdraw as soon as your work is done. Such is heaven's way." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 9

"Humility is worthy of our attention because the promise is that through humility we can live a creative and compassionate life that flows effortlessly from a divine center within us." Jim Rosemergy, The Transcendent Life, xiii

"‘Blessed are the poor in spirit (humble), for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:3

February 28, 2017: "LOVE WHOLENESS!"

“You must be the change
you wish to see in the world.”
~Mahatma Gandhi

"God so loved the world..." John 3:16

"Not only are we to believe in our own divinity, but we are to accept the example of that divinity expressed through Jesus Christ." Charles Fillmore, Mysteries of John 38

"As the ignorant act with attachment to actions, so wise men should act with detachment to preserve the world." Bhagavad-Gita 3:25

"Bring forth your own joyous world of love, friendship, beauty, and plenty. God is giving everything required to build such a world. There is within you the God-given intelligence to build such a world. Get at it!" Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You 143

"The best are like water. Water benefits all things and does not compete with them. It flows to the lowest level that people disdain. In this it comes near to the Way." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 8

"Your mind is your world. Your thoughts are the tools with which you carve your life story on the substance of the universe. When you rule your mind you rule your world. When you choose your thoughts you choose results." Imelda Octavia Shanklin, What Are You? 22

"The earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it, the world, and those who live in it;” Psalms 24:1

We continue our study of The Gospel of John: the Gospel of Transformation. This month we focus on the first of the seven signs or miracles that form the framework for the narrative or the story that is told. The wedding feast at Cana is where the water was turned to wine. The natural body is being transformed into the spiritual body through the union of the dominant states of consciousness: the male or thought nature and the female or feeling nature.

"Think about Christ as a life force penetrating your whole being. Try to feel this force as an energy pulsating through every nerve and fiber of your body. Then imagine you can see this life force as a light lighting up every cell. Light represents intelligence, and when the light in you breaks forth into understanding you will know that there is a spiritual mind that is as much greater than the ordinary mind as the sun is greater than the moon. In Him is life, and this life is the light of men." Charles Fillmore, Mysteries of John 31

Today we ask you to affirm with us, "God is the light within which I see; I see the light of Christ reflected in me; I Am one with God, one with my good!"

Thank you God, Thank you God, Thank you God!

For so it is and so it shall be, Amen!

February 22, 2017: "RENEWED WHOLENESS!'

"There can be
only one permanent revolution
- a moral one:
the regeneration of the inner man.”
― Leo Tolstoy

"Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born anew, he cannot see the Kingdom of God." John 3:3

"But in His instructions to Nicodemus Jesus makes no mention of a resurrection after death as having any part in the new birth. He cites the ever present though unseen wind as an illustration of those who are born of Spirit. The new birth is a change that comes here and now. It has to do with the present man, that he may be conscious of the "Son of man," who is the real I AM in each individual." Charles Fillmore, Mysteries of John 35

"But when a man finds delight within himself and feels inner joy and pure contentment in himself, there is nothing more to be done." Bhagavad-Gita 3:16

"When once the ideal man is conceived in the mind as a possibility, and the requirements of the Law are complied with, the regeneration of mind and body is under way; then he who descended is no longer hampered by the thought of sinful flesh; he is glorified with the manifestation of divine substance in his body. This is the ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ into heaven." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You 146

"Heaven is eternal, and the earth is very old. They can be eternal and long lasting, because they do not exist for themselves, and for this reason can long endure. Therefore the wise put themselves last, but find themselves foremost. They exclude themselves, and yet they always remain. Is it not because they do not live for themselves that they find themselves fulfilled?" Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 7

"In the inner depths you know, "I am wisdom." In your true identity you are the Mind of God. This Mind must be permitted to act in you. It knows all things; it makes no mistakes. In you it recognizes itself as beauty; in you it sustains its perfection. You become aware of its work in you when you do not crowd it aside by the arrogance of the personal mind." Imelda Octavia Shanklin, What Are You? 12

"But those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31

February 15, 2017: "REGENERATION & WHOLENESS!"

"Earth knows no desolation.
She smells regeneration
in the moist breath of decay.”
― George Meredith

"Making a whip of cords, he drove all of them out of the temple, both the sheep and the cattle. He also poured out the coins of the money-changers and overturned their tables." John 2:15

"When we throw the light of Spirit into the subconscious courts of the body temple, we find queer and often startling conditions there... So the body temple must be cleansed; it is the house of God ("for we are a temple of the living God"), and it should be put in order. The first step in this cleansing process is to recognize its need. The next step is the "scourge of small cords" (A.V.): to formulate the word or statement of denial." Charles Fillmore, Mysteries of John 28-29

"Action comes from the spirit of prayer, whose source is OM, sound of the imperishable; so the pervading infinite spirit is ever present in rites of sacrifice." Bhagavad-Gita 3:15

"Keep your soul open to the shining light of Truth by denial of past or future claims upon you, for you live in the now." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You 46

"The spirit of the valley never dies. It is called the mystical female. The door of the mystical female is the root of heaven and earth. It seems to be continuously within us. Use it, and it will never be exhausted." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 6

"The mental you is born of the spiritual you, and the physical you is your mind's outer translation of God's idea." Imelda Octavia Shanklin, What Are You? 15

"The human spirit is the lamp of the Lord, searching every inmost part.” Proverbs 20:27

February 8, 2017: "CONSCIOUS WHOLENESS!"

"Individuality is only possible
if it unfolds from wholeness.”
― David Bohm

"I am the voice of one crying out in the wilderness, 'Make straight the way of the Lord’" John 1:23

"In the regeneration two states of mind are constantly at work. First comes the cleansing or denial state, in which all the error thoughts are eliminated... the reforms that put the conscious mind in order are designed to prepare the way for that larger and more permanent consciousness which is to follow." Charles Fillmore, Mysteries of John 16-17

"Perform necessary action; it is more powerful than inaction; without action you even fail to sustain your own body. Action imprisons the world unless it is done as sacrifice; freed from attachment perform action as sacrifice!" Bhagavad-Gita 3:8-9

"It is God's plan to have the creation express His own ideas, qualities, and being. Man's work is to become conscious of and to express in his life the true pattern and qualities of God." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You 125

"How the universe is like a bellows! While empty, it is never exhausted. The more it is worked, the more it produces. Much talk brings exhaustion. It is better to keep to the center." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 5

"Disquieting questions as to the why and the how of life cease when you begin to regard yourself as impersonal being manifesting as personality. You become immune to doubt when you learn that the impersonal is indestructible." Imelda Octavia Shanklin, What Are You? 7-8

"When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars that you have established; what are human beings that you are mindful of them, mortals that you care for them? Yet you have made them a little lower than God, and crowned them with glory and honour.” Psalms 8:3-5

February 1, 2017: "SPIRITUAL WHOLENESS!"

"There is one unity,
unified wholeness, total natural law,
in the transcendental unified consciousness.”
― Maharishi Mahesh Yogi

"When the steward tasted the water that had become wine, and did not know where it came from, the steward called the bridegroom and said to him, ‘Everyone serves the good wine first, and then the inferior wine after the guests have become drunk. But you have kept the good wine until now.’" John 2:9-10

"Spiritually a marriage represents the union of two dominant states of consciousness... Water may be compared to natural or human life, and wine to spiritual life. In the regeneration spirit and body are united, but before this union can be accomplished the exhausted natural life must be quickened with spirit (symbolized by the turning of water into wine.)" Charles Fillmore, Mysteries of John 24-25

"When he controls his senses with his mind and engages in the discipline of action with his faculties of action, detachment sets him apart." Bhagavad-Gita 3:7

"Now that you are corning into the understanding of Christ principles and learning how to co-operate with your indwelling Lord and Healer, you are made whole and well in every part." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You 117

"The Way is infinite; its use is never exhausted. It is bottomless, like the fountainhead of all things. It smoothes its roughness; it unties its tangles. It softens its light; it calms its turmoil. Deep and still, ever present. I do not know its source. It seems to have existed before the Lord." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 4

"In the fact that the personal can be changed lies your hope of achievement. In the fact that the impersonal is changeless lies your assurance of an attainable perfection in the realms of conscious being." Imelda Octavia Shanklin, What Are You? 6

"So God created humankind in his image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” Genesis 1:27

January 25, 2017: "WORD BEING!"

"The monuments of wit
survive the monuments of power.”
― Francis Bacon

"And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father’s only son, full of grace and truth." John 1:14

"Because Jesus held to this perfect image of the divine man, the Christ or Word entered consciously into every atom of His being, even to the very cells of His outer organism, and transformed all His body into pure, immortal, spiritual substance and life." Charles Fillmore, Mysteries of John 15

"Rarely someone sees it, rarely another speaks it, rarely anyone hears it -- even hearing it, no one really knows it. The self embodied in the body of every being is indestructible." Bhagavad-Gita 2:29-30

"Logos is in fact the root of our word logic. Thus, we are to understand not only that God created by the power of the Word, but that Word also included logical consistency. That is, God being Spirit, as a logical sequence His creations must be spiritual." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You 58

"Therefore the wise lead by keeping their hearts pure, their bellies full, their ambitions weak, and their bones strong, so that the people may be purified
of their thoughts and desires; and the cunning ones will not interfere. By acting without interfering, all may live in peace." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 3

"The first step in the attainment of immortality is living out from the center of our being, as in the idea of unfoldment from within, rather than accretion: It is the giving sense rather than getting; being rather than attaining." Joel Goldsmith, The Infinite Way 32

"God saw everything that he had made, and indeed, it was very good.” Genesis 1:31

We begin this new year studying the Gospel of Transformation: The Gospel of John. John is structured around the seven signs or miracles of Jesus beginning with the changing of water into wine and completing with the resurrection. It opens with a discussion of The Word which parallels the "God said" in the book of Genesis. The Word is the creative principle of the Divine Self; it is the source and expression of our being and doing.

This month we contemplate the power of The Word. As we speak, we feel the vibration our words produce in our bodies. As we think, we follow the vibration our thoughts produce in our hearts and minds. As we meditate, we recognize the vibration of The Word that is expressing in and through and as us. We realize peace, wholeness and abundance in unity with the one.

Please affirm with us, "As I allow God to freely vibrate in and through and as me, I realize divine peace, wholeness and abundance; I am an individualized expression of God; I am ever one with the infinite, unlimited, eternal presence and power of God!"

Thank you God, Thank you God, Thank you God!

For so it is and so it shall be, Amen!

January 18, 2017: "LIGHT WORDS!"

"The whole art of poetry
is to say what can't be said.”
― Alan W. Watts

"What has come into being in him was life, and the life was the light of all people. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it." John 1:4-5

"Up to a certain stage in his unfolding man does not recognize this truth; now however this mystery, which is "Christ in you, the hope of glory," is being revealed to the race with more and more clarity and with greatly increased power." Charles Fillmore, Mysteries of John 14

"Indestructible is the presence that pervades all this; no one can destroy this unchanging reality." Bhagavad-Gita 2:17

"When the word of God is kept constantly in the heart there is no place for error. Sure healing is attained by him who ever keeps the portal of his thought guarded by these two angels: denial and action." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You 47

"Therefore the wise manage affairs without interfering and teach beyond the words. All things rise, and they do not turn away from them. They give them life, but do not take possession of them. They act, but do not rely on their own ability. They accomplish, but claim no credit. Because they claim no credit, their accomplishment remains with them." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 2

"Eventually he is led to the great revelation that mortals put on immortality only as mortality disappears -- they do not add immortal spiritual harmony to human conditions." Joel Goldsmith, The Infinite Way 23

"God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night.” Genesis 1:4-5

January 11, 2017: "WORD POWER!"

"Without knowing the force of words,
it is impossible to know more.”
― Confucius

"He (The Word) was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being." John 1:2-3

"In pure metaphysics there is but one word, the Word of God. This is the original creative Word or thought of Being. It is the "God said" of Genesis." Charles Fillmore, Mysteries of John 11

"Never have I not existed, nor you, nor these kings; and never in the future shall we cease to exist." Bhagavad-Gita 2:12

"THE VISIBLE UNIVERSE is but the externalization of thoughts. Man, a spiritual word or thought, has existed from the beginning. Hence in reality man's higher Self is spiritual. He is Life and Intelligence expressed. He thinks and his thoughts become objective as forms." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You 57

"Whoever is desireless, sees the essence of life. Whoever desires, sees its manifestations. These two are the same, but what is produced has different names. They both may be called the cosmic mystery: from the cosmic to the mystical is the door to the essence of all life." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 1

"Let us begin with the understanding that our world is not an erroneous one, but rather that the universe in which we live is the realm of reality about which man entertains a false concept. The work of bringing health and harmony into our experience is not, then, getting rid of, or even changing, a mortal material universe, but correcting the finite concept of our existence." Joel Goldsmith, The Infinite Way 22

"And God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light.” Genesis 1:3

January 4, 2017: "THE WORD!"

"Silence is the language of God,

all else is poor translation.”
― Jalaluddin Rumi

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:1

"The Greek word (logos) cannot be adequately translated into English. In the original it denotes wisdom, judgment, power, and in fact all the inherent potentialities of Being." Charles Fillmore, Mysteries of John 11

"Nothing of nonbeing comes to be, nor does being cease to exist; the boundary between these two is seen by men who see reality." Bhagavad-Gita 2:16

"When we use the word Truth, we mean that which is true of God, and true of God's children. This spiritual Truth is that you are God's own beloved child and that God is ever giving you His own wisdom, love, power, life, and substance." Myrtle Fillmore, How to Let God Help You 5

"The Way that can be described is not the absolute Way; the name that can be given is not the absolute name. Nameless it is the source of heaven and earth; named it is the mother of all things." Lao Tse, Tao te Ching 1

"In this wise, do we understand that there is not a spiritual universe and a material world, but rather that what appears as our world is the Word made flesh, Spirit made visible, or Consciousness expressed as idea. " Joel Goldsmith, The Infinite Way 21

"By the word of the Lord the heavens were made.” Psalms 33:6
