March 31, 2021 - "THE SUPREME REALIZATION!"

“Our own self-realization is the greatest service we can render the world.”
― Ramana Maharshi

"Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and ministered to him.” Matthew 4:11

"The supreme realization of man is his unity with God." Charles Fillmore, Jesus Christ Heals 50

"Thus, with your body and energy harmonized, you can become one with Heaven." The Book of Chuang Tzu, Martin Palmer,et. al. 156

"The only way to abide in cosmic consciousness is to develop Christ consciousness, the abiding realization of oneness with God-Mind and of its ideas as directing all the faculties in fulfilling the divine purpose in being." Myrtle Fillmore, Healing Letters 90

"In everyone there is the capacity to wake up, to understand, and to love." Thich Nhat Hanh, Being Peace 14

"Yes, in just the degree that you realize our oneness with this Infinite Spirit of Life, and thus actualize your latent possibilities and powers, you will exchange disease for ease, inharmony for harmony, suffering and pain for abounding health and strength." Ralph Waldo Trine, In Tune With The Infinite, 33

"When we realize our unity with God... the Devil (personality) leaves us... Then 'angels,' which are our perceptive qualities quickened to the higher level of Spirit, minister to us. To gain self-understanding and self-dominion is the work of God that every man must accomplish for himself." Elizabeth Sand Turner, Your Hope of Glory, 47-48

“The art of life is to live in the present moment, and to make that moment as perfect as we can by the realization that we are the instruments and expression of God Himself.” -- Emmet Fox

“ And he was in the wilderness forty days, tempted by Satan; and he was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered to him.” Mark 1:13

"THE GOOD NEWS!" is our theme for this year. A metaphysical study of the four Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, using a thematic approach, assists us in opening our minds and hearts to receive the blessings of the Christ level of awareness, here and now.

The first event that Jesus participated in to prepare for his public ministry is his baptism by John. Between the birth of the Christ level of awareness into consciousness and its full maturity of expression is a passage of time, 30 years. 30 represents the three phases of being: Spiritual, Mental and Physical, raised to a level of completion (the added 0). When we come into a new awareness it is wise to allow for its maturity in consciousness when it is ready for baptism.

Following his baptism, he "was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted" (Mt. 4:1). The Tempter, Tester, Adversary, Accuser, Devil (Latin), Satan (Hebrew), is that part of consciousness that tempts us to believe that there is something other than God, good, that exists. This is the first Great Lie; see John 8:44. It speaks of separation, lack and limitation; all these are false appearances that seem real, and are not!

The first temptation, turning stones to bread, speaks to the appearances of lack. Here we are told that we are truly fed "by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God." Good Orderly Direction guides us to realize that all we need and desire (of the father) is readily provided.

Next we are tempted to put God to the test, to make things happen; we can choose to work with Good Orderly Direction, to 'let' things happen and to realize the Divine Power to overcome any limitation.

Third we are tempted to seek vain glory, to separate our selves out from Good Orderly Direction; when we choose to express out of a consciousness of oneness, we overcome all difficulties and temptations.

This is Good News!

Thank you for accompanying us on this journey of self-discovery!

Please affirm with us:
“I AM complete and healed and whole,
at peace and in harmony with all that is;
All I need and desire is readily provided, here and now!"

Thank you God, thank you God, thank you God!

For so it is and so it shall be, Amen!

March 24, 2021 - "REALIZATION!"

“The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today.”
― Franklin D. Roosevelt

"Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them; and he said to him, 'All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.’” Matthew 4:8-9

"To a metaphysician realization is the conviction that a person gets when he has persistently concentrated his attention on an ideal until he feels assured of the fulfillment of that ideal." Charles Fillmore, Jesus Christ Heals 45

"If you have grasped the purpose of life there is no point in trying to make life into something it is not or cannot be." The Book of Chuang Tzu, Martin Palmer,et. al. 156

"Remember we are to pray in the name of Jesus Christ, which means with the same earnest desire to glorify God in our life that filled Jesus' mind and heart always. We are to ask of the Father in the realization of our oneness with Him and the consciousness of sonship." Myrtle Fillmore, Healing Letters 154

The capacity to wake up, to understand, and to love is called Buddha nature. When Buddhists say 'I take refuge in the Buddha,' they are expressing trust in their own capacity of understanding, of becoming awake." Thich Nhat Hanh, Being Peace 13

"The moment a person realizes his oneness with the Infinite Spirit he recognizes himself as a spiritual being and no longer as a mere physical material being." Ralph Waldo Trine, In Tune With The Infinite, 32

"We should never allow ourselves to be under the dominion of the personal consciousness. It promises power that it cannot give, and to yield to its alluring voice would pave the way for our own destruction." Elizabeth Sand Turner, Your Hope of Glory, 46

“So then, the relationship of self to other is the complete realization that loving yourself is impossible without loving everything defined as other than yourself.” -- Alan Watts

“Then Jesus said to him, 'Begone, Satan! for it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.’'” Matthew 4:10

"Laws fixed in infinite Mind automatically accomplish whatever man desires when he becomes obedient to the inner guide. Concentration, one-pointed attention, forms a mental magnet in the mind to which thought substance rushes like iron filings to a loadstone." Charles Fillmore, Jesus Christ Heals 44

"We have a very decided part; we are to cease worrying, and being anxious, and thinking and speaking of the past and of the apparent lack and idleness. We are to concentrate all our attention upon the Truth of God, and the truth of our own being, upon the very things we would see taking place in our life." Myrtle Fillmore, Healing Letters 24

"When he discovered that the statue of the Buddha is not the Buddha, he began to ask where the Buddhas are... I told him that Buddhas are us." Thich Nhat Hanh, Being Peace 13

"The attainment of a higher consciousness is generally followed by a testing period to give us opportunity to prove that we have accepted and can use the illumination received." Elizabeth Sand Turner, Your Hope of Glory, 43

February 24, 2017 - "BEYOND WORDS!"

the language of God,
all else is poor translation.”

We are engaged in a a metaphysical study of the four Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John using a thematic approach. "THE GOOD NEWS!" is the overall theme for this year.

This month we focus on the birth of the Christ level of awareness revealed by the stories in Matthew and Luke plus the power of the Word in the first chapter of John.

Matthew 1:23 tells us that "God is with us" and that as we learn to trust the inner resources of spirit (Kings from the east) we realize God as our source of all needed good.

With Luke we find a humility and a humbleness represented by the birth in the manager and the angels message to the shepherds to "Do not be afraid" and "... on earth peace among men with whom he is pleased!" (emphasis added)

John brings us back to the beginning and The Word, Infinite Creative Power, that has become flesh and dwells within us.

This is Good News!

Thank you for accompanying us on this journey of self-discovery!

Please affirm with us: “I AM a wholly perfect, sinless, child of God shining in the reflection of God Love!"

Thank you God, thank you God, thank you God!

For so it is and so it shall be, Amen!

I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.'” Luke 2:8-10

"Being is the consciousness of the one Presence and the one Power, of the one intelligence, and man stands in the Godhead as I will. "Understanding this law of mind action will help us to see just why we have the experiences we have, and why we have the reactions to them that we have, and why it is so important to keep going to God-Mind for more light and love and life and substance." Myrtle Fillmore, Healing Letters 77

"From time to time, to remind ourselves to relax, to be peaceful, we may wish to set aside some time for a retreat, a day of mindfulness, when we can walk slowly, smile, drink tea with a friend, enjoy being together as if we are the happiest people on Earth." Thich Nhat Hanh, Being Peace 5

“The one who comes from above is above all; the one who is of the earth belongs to the earth and speaks about earthly things. The one who comes from heaven is above all.” John 3:31

"THE GOOD NEWS!" is the theme for this year. We will be using a thematic approach to a metaphysical study of the four Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

The word 'Gospel' literally means "God's spell" or "good-tidings"; The Good News. Each Gospel tells a different story of the life and teachings of Jesus, called Christ. Three: Matthew, Mark and Luke, tell essentially the same story and are referred to as "Synoptic" gospels.

The Synoptic Gospels record Jesus' first public teaching essentially the same way: "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Matthew 4:18 RSV. Repent literally means to "think anew" or again, and includes an element of a new understanding, "for the kingdom of heaven", the kingdom of God, of your good, "is at hand." It is literally within your reach, right here and now!

The Gospel of John is similar but couched in even more symbolic language "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16). The world has been given to us, as the only Son (and Daughters) or expressions of Spirit which is God, in order to experience our good. Heaven is present in a mind centered on God, on good, here and now!

This is, The Good News!

Thank you for accompanying us on this journey of self-discovery!

Please affirm with us: “I rise above all appearances of lack and limitation to know the Truth that God's good will for my life is now made manifest: I am happy, healthy, whole and free just as God created me to be!"

Thank you God, thank you God, thank you God!

For so it is and so it shall be, Amen!
