March 30, 2022 - "REALIZE UNITY!"

“Society is
unity in diversity.”

   —   George Herbert Mead

"How very good and pleasant it is when kindred live together in unity!" Psalms 133:1.

"To call a disciple is mentally to recognize that Power;... To make this identification, one must realize one's unity with God through Christ, Christ being the Son-of God idea always existing in man's higher consciousness." Charles Fillmore, The Twelve Powers of Man 44

"The perfect man is as one with others in seeking his food from the Earth and his joy from Heaven. However, he remains detached from consideration of profit and gain from others..." The Book of Chuang Tzu, Martin Palmer, et. al. 203

"Positive declaration of the truth of one's unity with God sets up a new current of thought power, which delivers one from the old beliefs and their depression.  And when the soul is lifted up and becomes positive, the body and the affairs are readily healed." Myrtle Fillmore, Healing Letters 35

"In a Buddhist monastery, everyone learns to use breath as a tool to stop mental dispersion and to build up concentration power. Concentration power is the strength which comes from practicing mindfulness." Thich Nhat Hanh, The Miracle of Mindfulness, 16.

"Be true to the highest within your own soul, and then allow yourself to be governed by no customs or conventionalities or arbitrary man-made rules that are not founded upon principle." Ralph Waldo Trine, In Tune With The Infinite. 100

"The all-knowing Christ Mind in us will teach us when we are willing to listen, but we must lay aside our own beliefs if we would learn from our Father."  Elizabeth Sand Turner, Your Hope of Glory, 151-2

“One of the main tasks of theology is to find words that do not divide but unite, that do not create conflict but unity, that do not hurt but heal." Henri Nouwen

“Finally, all of you, have unity of spirit, sympathy, love for one another, a tender heart, and a humble mind." 1Peter 3:8

This year we are revisiting The Twelve Powers of Man by Charles Fillmore, Unity's system for the realization of the Regeneration. These "twelve fundamental faculties" (pg 62) are inherent expressions of the Christ within. By awakening to these faculties we raise our awareness of their role in establishing a new and higher dimension to life and living.

This month we focus on the Spiritual Faculty of Wisdom "The mouths of the righteous utter wisdom, and their tongues speak justice." Psalms 37:30.

James, the son of Zebedee, represents Wisdom. Its seat is in the gut which feels all things. We have wisdom, it is inherent within us. God in us knows and as we quicken our wisdom faculty we begin to know that we know where and when we need to know.

Each of these spiritual faculties have both a masculine, assertive, active ability and a feminine. receptive, passive attitude quality. Judgment is Wisdom's ability to evaluate and make choices. Discernment is an attitude of knowing without reason. The more we develop our Wisdom faculty, the easier it becomes for the right-use of our Judgement ability, which is to look within rather that without and to discern what is ours to do.

Thank you for accompanying us on this journey of self-realization and discovery of our Divine potential!

Please affirm with us: “God in me is Wisdom: I make wise and right choices!"

Thank you God, thank you God, thank you God!

For so it is and so it shall be, Amen!

March 23, 2022 - "KNOWING!"

“Knowing others is wisdom,
knowing yourself is Enlightenment.”

   — Lao Tzu

"Render service with enthusiasm, as to the Lord and not to men and women, knowing that whatever good we do, we will receive the same again from the Lord." Ephesians 6:7-8.

"Wisdom includes judgment, discrimination, intuition, and all the departments of mind that come under the head of knowing." Charles Fillmore, The Twelve Powers of Man 49

"The basic way of protecting life - can you embrace the one?" The Book of Chuang Tzu, Martin Palmer, et. al. 202

"When wisdom and love and life and power prompt your thoughts, you are living and moving and having your being in the very presence of God, and you know that all is well." Myrtle Fillmore, Healing Letters 43

"Breath is the bridge which connects life to consciousness, which unites your body to your thoughts. Whenever you mind becomes scattered, use your breath as the means to take hold of you mind again." Thich Nhat Hanh, The Miracle of Mindfulness, 15.

"We need to realize that environment should never be allow to make the man, but that man should always, and always can, condition the environment... by the very force we carry with us we can so affect and change matters that we shall have an entirely new set of conditions in an old environment." Ralph Waldo Trine, In Tune With The Infinite. 99

"To behold the good that exists in the very midst of any appearance of evil is indeed to 'judge righteous judgment.'"  Elizabeth Sand Turner, Your Hope of Glory, 152

“Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darknesses of other people."  Carl Jung

“Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it." Hebrews 13:2.

“The only real valuable thing
is intuition.”

   —  Albert Einstein

"I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge; and my judgment is just, because I seek to do not my own will but the will of him who sent me." John 5:30.

"We no longer accept the race standards or the teachings of the worldly wise, but we 'judge righteous judgment'; we know with an inner intuition, and we judge men and events from a new viewpoint." Charles Fillmore, The Twelve Powers of Man 44

"Outside influences will press upon you and you will find it impossible to control them. It is wiser to shut the gate of your inner self against them." The Book of Chuang Tzu, Martin Palmer, et. al. 202

"Thus mindfulness is at the same time a means and an end, the seed and the fruit. When we practice mindfulness in order to build up concentration, mindfulness is a seed. But mindfulness itself is the life of awareness... therefore mindfulness is also the fruit." Thich Nhat Hanh, The Miracle of Mindfulness, 14-15.

"And let us also remember that the supernatural of yesterday becomes -- as in the process of evolution we evolve from the lower to the higher, from the more material to the more spiritual -- the common and natural of today." Ralph Waldo Trine, In Tune With The Infinite. 98

"We should have an intuitive knowledge that is based on spiritual perception, and not on reason."  Elizabeth Sand Turner, Your Hope of Glory, 84

“There is no logical way to the discovery of these elemental laws. There is only the way of intuition, which is helped by a feeling for the order lying behind the appearance."  Albert Einstein

"Honour should be shown to the worthy and offices given to those who are capable, with preference shown to the good and thoughtful." The Book of Chuang Tzu, Martin Palmer, et. al. 200

"Mindfulness is the miracle by which we master and restore ourselves... it is the miracle which can call back in a flash our dispersed mind and restore it to wholeness so that we can live each minute of life." Thich Nhat Hanh, The Miracle of Mindfulness, 14

"One who has come into a knowledge of his true identity, of his oneness with the all-pervading Wisdom and Power, thus makes it possible for laws higher than the ordinary mind knows of to be revealed to him." Ralph Waldo Trine, In Tune With The Infinite. 98

"When judgment is divorced from wisdom its conclusions are faulty and lead to condemnation and criticism. Through the faithful affirmation of wisdom and good judgment, the spiritual aspect of this power comes into activity."  Elizabeth Sand Turner, Your Hope of Glory, 82

“If a man can control his mind he can find the way to Enlightenment, and all wisdom and virtue will naturally come to him." Buddha

"One must deal with every kind of hardship, every moment keeping one's attention focused on the work... be alert and ready to handle ably and intelligently any situation which may arise - this is mindfulness." Thich Nhat Hanh, The Miracle of Mindfulness, 13-14

"Whatever has been done in the world's history can be done again thorough the operation of the same laws and forces.

This month we focus on the Spiritual Faculty of Strength. "O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever." Psalms 136:1.

Andrew is the disciple that represents Strength, its seat is the spine that supports the whole body. We have strength. When our faith is placed in a Higher Power, God: Good Orderly Direction, we have the steadfast strength to meet whatever we face, strong and unafraid. We have the strength to persevere in the face of difficulty to realize the gifts of peace, wholeness and abundance that are ours to know as expressions of the One Presence and Power: God.

Each of these spiritual faculties have both a masculine, assertive, active ability and a feminine. receptive, passive attitude quality. Steadfastness is Strength's ability for a devotion to principle despite outer appearances. Silence is an attitude of strength centered in our faith in God.

Thank you for accompanying us on this journey of self-realization and discovery of our Divine potential!

Please affirm with us: “God is my Strength: I Am Steadfast and Strong !"

Thank you God, thank you God, thank you God!

New Happy Year!

This year we will be revisiting The Twelve Powers of Man by Charles Fillmore, Unity's system for the realization of the Regeneration. These "twelve fundamental faculties" (pg 62) are inherent expressions of the Christ within. By awakening to these faculties we raise our awareness of their role in establishing a new and higher dimension to life and living.

Peter is the disciple that represents Faith, its seat is in the Pineal Gland at the center of the brain. We have faith, it is an essential quality of mind. Our beliefs direct our faith; we can choose to place our faith in the changing fortunes of our experience, submitting our selves to the doubt and fear, etc. of negative beliefs, or we can place our faith in the infinite, eternal, unlimited existence that is God the good and realize the creative, constructive, positive energy which is our Divine Inheritance.

Each of these spiritual faculties have both a masculine, assertive, active ability and a feminine. receptive, passive attitude quality. Affirmation is Faith's ability to say yes to life, to say yes to God, yes to Divine Ideas. Trust is an attitude of relaxing in the knowledge that God is in charge.

Thank you for accompanying us on this journey of self-realization and discovery of our Divine potential!

Please affirm with us: “God is my Faith: I Am Faith-filled!"

Thank you God, thank you God, thank you God!

For so it is and so it shall be, Amen!
