May 27, 2026 – AWAKE!

“My appointed work is to awaken the divine nature that is within.” –– Peace Pilgrim.

““Let your loins be girded and your lamps burning, and be like men who are waiting for their master to come home from the marriage feast, so that they may open to him at once when he comes and knocks. Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes; truly, I say to you, he will gird himself and have them sit at table, and he will come and serve them. ” Luke 12:35-37.

“We cannot, in our own strength, solve the great, self-purifying problem, but by giving ourselves wholly to Christ and constantly denying the demands of the personal self, we grow into the divine image. This is the process by which we ‘awake, with beholding thy form.’” Christian Healing, Charles Fillmore, 59.

“This drum and these words keep pounding! Let them both smash through their coverings into silence.” The Essential Rumi, Coleman Barks, et. al. 93.

“All new experiences that try your faith are just opportunities for you to make the Good manifest. Best of all, these experiences are the steppingstones upon which you are progressing to more advanced things. They cause you to quicken, awaken, and bring forth into expression more of your innate capabilities that are awaiting your use.” Myrtle Fillmore, How To Let God Help You, 75.

“The Buddha said that his body of teachings would remain with his students but that it was up to them to make it last. If we don’t practice, there will be only books and tapes, but if we practice, the Dharma (the law) body will be a living Dharma.” Thich Nhat Hanh, Living Buddha, Living Christ, 123.

“Consciousness must be Consciousness expressed, Consciousness manifested, or I expressed, I manifested. Let us call whatever that Consciousness is as manifestation, man, or to go further, let us call It individual being: I, God, manifest as I, the son. That Consciousness is inseparable and indivisible from its self:” Joel Goldsmith, The Altitude of Prayer, 123.

“How old are you? Twenty-five? Fifty? Seventy-five? What did you look like a hundred years ago? A thousand years ago? Ten thousand years ago? You who think of yourself in such fixed terms, what were you like then?” James Dillet Freeman, Prayer the Master Key, 120.

“We need enlightenment, not just individually but collectively, to save the planet. We need to awaken ourselves. We need to practice mindfulness if we want to have a future, if we want to save ourselves and the planet.” – Thich Nhat Hanh.

“My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast! I will sing and make melody! Awake, my soul! Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awake the dawn! I will give thanks to thee, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to thee among the nations. For thy steadfast love is great to the heavens, thy faithfulness to the clouds.” Psalm 57:7-10.

May 20, 2026 – THE PANORAMA OF LIFE!

“We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools.” –– Martin Luther King, Jr.

“My mouth shall speak wisdom; the meditation of my heart shall be understanding. I will incline my ear to a proverb; I will solve my riddle to the music of the lyre.” Psalm 49:3-4.

“When the mind of man is set on high, he never gives up or allows defeat to thwart his righteous ambitions… To one in spiritual understanding there is no loss. The going and coming of material and intellectual things are but changes in the panorama of life.” Christian Healing, Charles Fillmore, 54-55.

“Your name is spring. Your name is wine. Your name is the nausea that comes from wine! You are my doubting and the lightpoints in my eyes. You are every image, and yet I’m homesick for you.” The Essential Rumi, Coleman Barks, et. al. 93.

“This is the secret of success in all spiritual treatments. You must bring all of your mental attitudes, the centers of your consciousness, and even your physical structures, to this high place in Divine Mind where you see as God sees. In this spiritual viewpoint you are able to name all that is within you according to the patterns of Spirit; thus you are able to use these soul qualities to outpicture rightly their true creative possibilities.” Myrtle Fillmore, How To Let God Help You, 135-136.

“The Father belongs to the realm of inexpressibility, but it is possible to touch the Son and the Holy Spirit. We have the capacity to recognize the presence of the Holy Spirit whenever and wherever it manifests. It, too, is the presence of mindfulness, understanding, and love, the energy that animates Jesus and helps us recognize the living Christ.” Thich Nhat Hanh, Living Buddha, Living Christ, 122-123.

“We begin to understand creation as the word Consciousness or the I takes on new meaning. “In the beginning God,” but since using the word God indicates something separate and apart from our Self, let us begin with the truth that I, Consciousness, am God. Consciousness is God, but I am is consciousness; therefore, I am the divine Consciousness in expression.” Joel Goldsmith, The Altitude of Prayer, 123.

“I wonder how many times I have in this lifetime rebuilt the structure that I call my body, enlarging and narrowing, tearing out and adding on, altering and reshaping. Life has not let me keep the body I was born with or the body I occupied when I was ten or twenty or thirty. I have had to move out of them all, I have torn them down and rebuilt them until this lodging I now occupy bears little resemblance to those I formerly occupied.” James Dillet Freeman, Prayer the Master Key, 120.

“Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less.” – Marie Curie.

“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let all men know your forbearance. The Lord is at hand. Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:4-7.

May 13, 2026 – MIND FORCES!

“Nothing is at last sacred but the integrity of your own mind.” –– Ralph Waldo Emerson

“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.” Romans 8:5-6.

“It is found that by the use of these mind forces, man can dissolve things by denying their existence, and that he can build them up by affirming their presence.” Christian Healing, Charles Fillmore, 51.

“Will this night of talking ever end? Why am I still embarrassed and timid about you? You are thousands. You are one. Quiet, but most articulate.” The Essential Rumi, Coleman Barks, et. al. 93.

“Look, then, to God-Mind, with faith, and you will begin to see the Light. Keep your gaze upon the Light and you can not possibly see any darkness. When you are looking toward the Light, shadows fall behind you. The Light is within you, and as you learn to look within, you become radiant, because light is a quality of mind and its essence is finding outlets through your mental faculties.” Myrtle Fillmore, How To Let God Help You, 108-9.

“Conscious breathing brings about calmness and harmony. Aware that practicing this way is the best thing we can do, we will feel solid within and we will be a true vehicle for helping others.” Thich Nhat Hanh, Living Buddha, Living Christ, 122.

“So we have God, infinite perfection, and we have His sons and daughters, also infinitely perfect. Made in the image and likeness of God, they are as perfect as their Source.” Joel Goldsmith, The Altitude of Prayer, 123.

“As a matter of fact, I have already given it (my body) up. For my body is not one thing but many. If I manage to live in it any time at all, I will have lived in many bodies in this one. For not a single cell of the body I was born with now remains.” James Dillet Freeman, Prayer the Master Key, 120.

“The key to success is to focus our conscious mind on things we desire not things we fear.” – Brian Tracy.

“A man’s mind plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.” Proverbs 16:9.

May 6, SECONDARY POWER OF THOUGHT!

“Change your thoughts and you change your world.” –– Norman Vincent Peale

“I became a minister according to the divine office which was given to me for you, to make the word of God fully known, the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now made manifest to his saints. To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Colossians 1:25-27.

“Thoughts are capable of expressing themselves — they think. Man thinks, and he thinks into his thoughts all that he is; hence man’s thoughts must be endowed with a secondary power of thought.” Christian Healing, Charles Fillmore, 50.

“Don’t ask what love can make or do! Look at the colors of the world. The riverwater moving in all rivers at once. The truth that lives in (my lovers) face” The Essential Rumi, Coleman Barks, et. al. 92.

“The really important thing, you know, is to lift your consciousness above the things of the material world — above personality and human limitations — and unfold your Christ consciousness… Christ is the real Self of each individual. By seeing only the Christ in all people, we not only strengthen our own spiritual consciousness but help all whom we contact to realize and express their innate divinity.” Myrtle Fillmore, How To Let God Help You, 77-78.

‘The Buddha taught, ‘Be an island unto yourself, Take refuge in your self and not in anything else.’ This island is right mindfulness, the awakened nature, the foundation of stability and calm that resides in each of us.” Thich Nhat Hanh, Living Buddha, Living Christ, 121-2.

“So in creation, God is the Father, the Substance, and men and women the children: God, the Father; God, the children, But the children are still of God. They are made of the basic Substance, formed in Its image and likeness.” Joel Goldsmith, The Altitude of Prayer, 122.

“Things are made for life, not life for things. Pray for them, knowing that they are yours to use, to enjoy, and to expend — for the increase of you own joy-in-living and for the joy-in-life of others.” James Dillet Freeman, Prayer the Master Key, 119.

“We are what our thoughts have made us; so take care about what you think. Words are secondary. Thoughts live; they travel far.” – Swami Vivekananda.

“I thank my God always when I remember you in my prayers, because I hear of your love and of the faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and all the saints, and I pray that the sharing of your faith may promote the knowledge of all the good that is ours in Christ. For I have derived much joy and comfort from your love, my brother, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you.” Philemon 1:4-7.

Healing, Health & Wholeness are our focus for this New Happy Year (2026). Healing of our physical, mental, and emotional bodies, our relationships with others and ourselves, our families and friends, our finances; all areas of our individual and collective life and being are ripe for healing: to realize our health and wholeness, here and now!

Simply put: Wholeness is our natural state of being, one with God and one with all that is; Health is one of the ways it expresses through us when we are in balance with what is; Healing is the process whereby we return to our natural state when we are out of balance.

Christian Healing, by Charles Fillmore, will be our basic text for this year’s weekly prayer letters. First published in 1909, this book lays out a series of “…lessons. They are not merely to be read; they are to be studied and applied as one studies and applies mathematical rules.” (from the preface.)

For May we are sharing from Lesson 5: How to Control Thought.

Our weekly prayer letters are exploring the principles discussed in each chapter and continue to provide related quotes from relevant writers and readings including from: How to Let God Help You, (from the writings of Myrtle Fillmore). Other regular resources include Bible quotes, The Essential Rumi, Thich Nhat Hanh, Joel Goldsmith and James Dillet Freeman.

Thank you for accompanying us on this journey of self-realization and discovery of our Divine potential!

Please affirm with us: “God is good, and God is all, therefore I deny the appearance of evil and affirm; God the good is all there is!”

Thank you God, thank you God, thank you God!

For so it is and so it shall be, Amen!

April 29, 2026 – CHRIST CONSCIOUSNESS!

“Behaviour arises from the level of one’s consciousness.” –– Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.

“This process of man’s taking up power and dominion again is now being carried out in all those who are seeking the righteousness of the Christ consciousness. In this higher-thought realm, all ideas pertaining to the life of man are in harmonious relation, and when we ask in silent thought for this knowledge, our mind is flooded with its light.” Christian Healing, Charles Fillmore, 47-48.

“Above all the grace and the gifts that Christ gives to his beloved is that of overcoming self.”– Francis of Assisi.

April 22, 2026 – THE LIFE CENTER!

“The unexamined life is not worth living.” –– Socrates.

“I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” John 10:10.

“The life center is divine, and should be thought about and used in the purest, highest way. This will lead to the perfect manifestation of life in the whole body.” Christian Healing, Charles Fillmore, 46.

“Let the beloved be a hat pulled down firmly on my head. Or drawstrings pulled and tied around the chest. Someone asks, How does love have hands and feet? Love is the sprouting bed for hands and feet! Your father and mother were playing love games. They came together, and you appeared! ” The Essential Rumi, Coleman Barks, et. al. 92.

“I went to all the life centers of my body and spoke words of Truth to them — words of strength and power. I asked their forgiveness for the foolish, ignorant course that I had pursued in the past, when I condemned them and called them weak, inefficient, and diseased. I did not become discouraged at their being slow to wake up, but kept right on, both silently and aloud, declaring the words of Truth, until the organs responded.” Myrtle Fillmore, How To Let God Help You, 128.

“Mindfulness gives rise to insight, awakening, and love. We all have the seed of mindfulness within us and through the practice of conscious breathing we can learn to touch it.” Thich Nhat Hanh, Living Buddha, Living Christ, 121.

“This experience (touched by the transcendental Presence) will never be fully attained until through prayer and meditation the veil of illusion that separates us from reality is rent.” Joel Goldsmith, The Altitude of Prayer, 122.

“Clutch things to you, and when life comes round again, where will it leave its gifts? For whatever you have, life has yet more to give.” James Dillet Freeman, Prayer the Master Key, 119.

“Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them – that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.”– Lao Tzu.

“Wisdom is good with an inheritance, an advantage to those who see the sun. For the protection of wisdom is like the protection of money; and the advantage of knowledge is that wisdom preserves the life of him who has it.” Ecclesiastes 7:11-12.

April 15, 2026 – THOUGHT SUBSTANCE!

“Change your thoughts and you change your world.” –– Norman Vincent Peale
.

“For though we live in the world we are not carrying on a worldly war, for the weapons of our warfare are not worldly but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every proud obstacle to the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete.” 2 Corinthians 10:3-6.

“Pervading all nature is a universal thought substance that is more sensitive than the phonographic record. The mechanical record receives and preserves vibrations of sound, but the thought substance does better than this; it transcribes not only all sounds, but even the slightest vibration of thought.” Christian Healing, Charles Fillmore, 45.

“That love-secret spoken pleasantly, or in irritation, severs a hundred thousand heads in one swing. A love-lion grazes in the soul’s pasture, while the scimitar of the secret approaches. It’s a killing better than any living.” The Essential Rumi, Coleman Barks, et. al. 91.

“Having such knowledge, you will realize that Mind is the great white throne of omnipotence. Good sits enthroned there; Love sits enthroned there; Life sits enthroned there. You may approach the throne boldly. You may claim all of these blessings with your divine thought for they are surely yours. There is no uncertainty.” Myrtle Fillmore, How To Let God Help You, 43.

“Mindfulness is the light that shows us the way. It is the living Buddha inside of us.” Thich Nhat Hanh, Living Buddha, Living Christ, 120-121.

“When a person is touched by the transcendental Presence, something in his life will be better: his health, supply, morals, home, family relationships, or business. The more he contacts It, the more his life will be an outer expression of an inner Divinity.” Joel Goldsmith, The Altitude of Prayer, 122.

“It is right to pray for things. When you pray, pray knowing that life lavishes its things, crowding every crack of space with its fecund living stuff, pressing into every outstretched hand its overflowing bounty.” James Dillet Freeman, Prayer the Master Key, 119.

“The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts: therefore, guard accordingly, and take care that you entertain no notions unsuitable to virtue and reasonable nature.”– Marcus Aurelius.

“How great are thy works, O Lord! Thy thoughts are very deep! The dull man cannot know, the stupid cannot understand this: that, though the wicked sprout like grass
and all evildoers flourish, they are doomed to destruction for ever, but thou, O Lord, art on high for ever.” Psalm 92:5-8.

April 8, 2026 – MIND POWER!

“The energy of the mind is the essence of life.” –– Aristotle.

“Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:2.

“All the manifestations that we see about us are produced in the same way; they have their source in some idea in mind, and they can be formed and transformed at will by one who understands and uses this mind power.” Christian Healing, Charles Fillmore, 44.

“It (love) tastes like honey to adults and milk to children. Love is the last thirty-pound bale. When you load it on, the boat tips over.” The Essential Rumi, Coleman Barks, et. al. 91.

“Studying cause and principle throughout the world’s history, we find records of the wise children of men who have turned from the absurdity of effect trying to deal with itself, and sought for the great Cause of all. In the study of it they have found that the Causing Power is Mind, and only through knowledge of this Power shall man be able to deal successfully with those restless shadows called human life that appear upon the external canvas of eternity.” Myrtle Fillmore, How To Let God Help You, 23.

“We all need something good, beautiful, and true to believe in. To take refuge in mindfulness, our capacity of being aware of what is going on in the present moment is safe and not at all abstract. When we drink a glass of water and know we are drinking a glass of water, that is mindfulness.” Thich Nhat Hanh, Living Buddha, Living Christ, 120.

“The transcendental Presence must become a living experience, permeating our consciousness, flowing through us to the extent that the fingers tingle with It, and the toes.” Joel Goldsmith, The Altitude of Prayer, 122.

“The joy is not to have a shining plane in our tool chest, but to take the plane out and plane a board with it until the board is flat and smooth and true. To do this is to know what things are for.” James Dillet Freeman, Prayer the Master Key, 118-119.

“Nothing has such power to broaden the mind as the ability to investigate systematically and truly all that comes under thy observation in life.”– Marcus Aurelius.

“Who is like the wise man? And who knows the interpretation of a thing? A man’s wisdom makes his face shine, and the hardness of his countenance is changed.” Ecclesiastes 8:1.

April 1, 2026 – THOUGHT CONTROL!

“Change your thoughts and you change your world.” –– Norman Vincent Peale.

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.” Proverbs 23:7(KJV).

“Here is proof that thought not only moves the external members of the body, but that it controls the fluids flowing within the body… We affirm that thought controls nerve forces and magnetic force, and that it not only moves them but also forms and organizes their activities in the body.” Christian Healing, Charles Fillmore, 40-41.

“The King of Tabuk went on like this, praising (the King of the Arabs), and talking theology and philosophy. (The King of the Arabs) kept silent. Then suddenly he leaned and whispered something in the second king’s ear, and that second, that second king became a wanderer too. They walked out of town hand in hand. No royal belts, no thrones. This is what love does and continues to do.” The Essential Rumi, Coleman Barks, et. al. 91.

“This is how I made what I call my discovery: I was thinking about life. Life is everywhere — in man and in worm. ‘Then why does not the life in the worm make a body like man’s?’ I asked. Then I thought, ‘The worm has not as much sense as man.’ Ah! intelligence, as well as life, is needed to make a body. Here is the key to my discovery. Life has to be guided by intelligence in making all forms. The same law works in my own body.” Myrtle Fillmore, How To Let God Help You, 127.

“We long for permanence, but everything is changing. We desire an absolute, but even what we call our ‘self’ is impermanent. We seek a place where we can feel safe and secure, a place we can rely on for a long time… Before putting our trust in others, we need to choose friends who are stable, on whom we can rely. ‘Taking refuge’ is not based on blind faith or wishful thinking. It is gauged by our real experience.” Thich Nhat Hanh, Living Buddha, Living Christ, 120.

“It (Christ) is an unseen spiritual Influence, and the person who is illumined has contact with Its essence… We live by Grace; we can do all things through the grace of God.” Joel Goldsmith, The Altitude of Prayer, 121.

“To enjoy things is not to possess them or be be possessed by them, but to use them. The joy of anything is the use of it. The joy of anything is to take it and make it into something more.” James Dillet Freeman, Prayer the Master Key, 118.

“The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts: therefore, guard accordingly, and take care that you entertain no notions unsuitable to virtue and reasonable nature.”– Marcus Aurelius.

“Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” Philippians 4:8.

Healing, Health & Wholeness are our focus for this New Happy Year (2026).
