Fall 2023

October 25, 2023 – DEMONSTRATE HEALTH!

“The first wealth
is health.”

– Ralph Waldo Emerson

“Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.” Proverbs 16:24.

“If you deny disease as devoid of reality and affirm health as spiritual and abiding, the Spirit will bear witness with your spirit and you will demonstrate health.” Charles Fillmore, Teach Us To Pray 129.

“Furthermore, the Tao is that by which all forms of life have life.” The Book of Chuang Tzu, Martin Palmer, et. al. 286.

“Thoughts are back of all conversation, so you see that you must co-operate with your Maker by training yourself to think life-giving, health-producing thoughts. Every day during your periods of communion with the Father in the silence, pray for wisdom and guidance. Make yourself open and receptive to the leading of the Spirit. It will be revealed to you just what steps to take in doing your part to establish divine order.” Myrtle Fillmore, How To Let God Help You, 74.

“When mindfulness is born in us, we need to continue to practice if we want to become solid. Really hearing a bird sing or really seeing a blue sky, we touch the seed of the Holy Spirit within us.” Thich Nhat Hanh, Living Buddha, Living Christ, 21.

“That is how you find your peace — by keeping your mind stayed on God. God will not do it: it is keeping your mind stayed on God that brings the activity of God into your experience.” Joel Goldsmith, The Altitude of Prayer, 63.

“How far I often am from God, but how close God always is to me!” James Dillet Freeman, Prayer the Master Key, 59.

“Health is not a condition of matter, but of Mind.” – Mary Baker Eddy

“When Jesus saw him and knew that he had been lying there a long time, he said to him, ‘Do you want to be healed?’” John 5:6

October 18, 2023 – KNOW HOW TO LIVE!

“The idea that man grows feeble with years is a foolish fallacy. The longer one lives the better one should know how to live.” Charles Fillmore, Teach Us To Pray 126.

“If you meet someone who is older than you and are not respectful, then this is a failure of etiquette. If you meet a worthy person and fail to offer respect, this is a lack of benevolence.” The Book of Chuang Tzu, Martin Palmer, et. al. 286.

“Keep your soul open to the shining light of Truth by denial of past or future claims upon you, for you live in the now. Affirm the now as your only active eternity.” Myrtle Fillmore, How To Let God Help You, 46.

“What I have been telling you is based on a very early unfoldment in my work in which I saw that nothing could happen to me except through my consciousness.” Joel Goldsmith, The Altitude of Prayer, 63.

“I do not mean that I really believe God to be a person. If he is, I have to revise my notion of what a person is. For it almost seems a kind of blasphemy to think of the Ultimate Reality as something like myself, though it is easy to think of myself as being like the Ultimate Reality.” James Dillet Freeman, Prayer the Master Key, 58.

“The greatest way to live with honor in this world is to be what we pretend to be.” – Socrates

–  Ralph Waldo Emerson

“With the energy of mindfulness, we can calm things down, understand them, and bring harmony back to the conflicting elements inside us.” Thich Nhat Hanh, Living Buddha, Living Christ, 19.

“To live under Grace, you must consciously negate the laws of the world and the world’s dominion over you, and by an activity of consciousness become aware of the law of God operating in your experience.” Joel Goldsmith, The Altitude of Prayer, 62.

“I have always felt, whatever made the world, it has to be a happy spirit, for I have heard it laughing.” James Dillet Freeman, Prayer the  Master Key, 58.

“In the child, consciousness rises out of the depths of unconscious psychic life, at first like separate islands, which gradually unite to form a ‘continent,’ a continuous landmass of consciousness. Progressive mental development means, in effect, extension of consciousness.” – Carl Jung

“And I will pray the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, to be with you for ever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him; you know him, for he dwells with you, and will be in you.” John 14:16-17.

October 4, 2023 – INTERPENETRATING SUBSTANCE!

“Now we see that there has been prepared from the beginning an interpenetrating substance that, like a tenuous bread of heaven, showers us with its abundance. But we must not only ask but bring the Spirit into consciousness by affirming its abundance to be the source of our prosperity.” Charles Fillmore, Teach Us To Pray 120.

“Truth itself comes to us from Heaven: this is how it is and it never changes. So the sage models himself upon Heaven, values truth but does not kowtow to convention. The fool does the opposite.” The Book of Chuang Tzu, Martin Palmer, et. al. 284.

“We show forth God by acknowledging Spirit only. Stop every thought but the thought that Spirit is All. God is Spirit. God makes all. Spirit is the substance out of which all things are made.” Myrtle Fillmore, How To Let God Help You, 35.

“To be here, now, and to enjoy the present moment is our most important task.” Thich Nhat Hanh, Living Buddha, Living Christ, 17.

“Truth operates equally for all those who dedicated themselves to the practice of truth, but there must be the practice.” Joel Goldsmith, The Altitude of Prayer, 62.

“I see once more that this is a world of paradoxes, inconsistencies, and contradictions — and by that very fact a world of sweet and perfect balance.” James Dillet Freeman, Prayer the  Master Key, 57.

We are ‘Free To Be in 23! ‘

This month of October 2023 we are realizing a consciousness of Spirit and Spiritual Substance. Here we know how to live as a demonstration of health, harmony and prosperity.

This year we are expressing what we are, free to be all that we are created to be, the Holy Perfect Expression of the Infinite, Unlimited, Eternal, Presence and Power that we call God!

Prayer and meditation are our means for raising our conscious awareness of the great work that Spirit is accomplishing in and through and as us. We begin by examining our thoughts, words and deeds to better understand our sense of being. This is the first step towards realizing our potential. We must become aware of and be willing to release all the self imposed limitations, false beliefs, error consciousness and self destructive behaviors as we are guided.

Now we continue to quiet the mind and heart as we quiet the body. “In the silence there is a sacred place… God is there.” And, this is where we learn to be.

We listen, we hear, we know, we are: One!

In this time of new possibility, we renew our commitment to our spiritual growth. We begin anew to purify our hearts and minds to be clear expressions of the divine. We prepare ourselves to be pure channels of the light and love of Spirit. We are Spirit Expressing Divine Love, here and now!

Thank you for accompanying us on this journey of self-realization and discovery of our Divine potential!

Please affirm with us: “I AM a Spiritual Being, I Live in a Spiritual Universe, My Life is Governed by Spiritual Law!”

Thank you God, thank you God, thank you God!

For so it is and so it shall be, Amen!

“When someone has truth within, it affects his external spirit, which is why truth is so important.” The Book of Chuang Tzu, Martin Palmer, et. al. 284.

“Our senses evidence conclusively that the sun does go around the earth. But we now see with the mind’s eye just how the earth and the planets travel around the sun, and an entirely new relation of things presents itself.” Myrtle Fillmore, How To Let God Help You, 82.

“Mindfulness is the substance of a Buddha. When you see deeply into this moment, you see the nature of reality, and this insight liberates you from suffering and confusion.” Thich Nhat Hanh, Living Buddha, Living Christ, 15-16.

“Spiritual power functions only when we make ourselves a complete receptivity to the Spirit of God, realizing ourselves as transparencies through which God can function.” Joel Goldsmith, The Altitude of Prayer, 56.

“The love of life may hide the fear of death, and spiritual growth may be a pretty name for self-centeredness.” James Dillet Freeman, Prayer the  Master Key, 57.

“A great thought begins by seeing something differently, with a shift of the mind’s eye.” –  Albert Einstein

“Then he said to them, ‘These are my words which I spoke to you, while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the law of Moses and the prophets and the psalms must be fulfilled.’ Then he opened their minds to understand the scriptures…” Luke 24:44-45.

September 20, 2023 – SPIRITUAL RECEPTIVITY!

everything would appear to man as it is, infinite.”
– William Blake

“The earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the face of the waters.” Genesis 1:2.

“Jesus called his first disciple Simon Peter. Simon means ‘hearing’ and Peter ‘a rock.’ Spiritual receptivity is the basis of a solid character.” Charles Fillmore, Teach Us To Pray 116.

“Once we begin to perceive the nature of God, to catch the slightest glimpse of God as Omnipotence… we begin to experience answers to our prayers.” Joel Goldsmith, The Altitude of Prayer, 57.

“So often when we go to an extreme, instead of getting what logic bids us expect, we get its opposite. Reason followed far enough becomes unreasonable. Unreason followed far enough becomes reasonable.” James Dillet Freeman, Prayer the  Master Key, 57.

“The Truth is yourself, but not your mere bodily self. Your real self is higher than ‘you’ and ‘me.’ This visible ‘you’ which you fancy to be yourself Is limited in place, the real ‘you’ is not limited.” –  Rumi

“When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.” John 16:13.

September 13, 2023 – MIND RADIATIONS!

“If you light a lamp for somebody,
it will also brighten your path.”
– Buddha

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John 1:5.

“It is the bent of the mind that determines the character of the voice… Practice giving ear or listening with your mind to the Lord. You will acquire the ability to make contact with the mind radiations of Christ and concentrate them in your mind and actually hear His voice.” Charles Fillmore, Teach Us To Pray 115.

“If you were to be serious in your cultivation of your own self, careful to guard the truth and willing to allow others to be as they are, then you could have avoided such problems… Are you not obsessed with external things?” The Book of Chuang Tzu, Martin Palmer, et. al. 283-4.

“Keep your gaze upon the Light and you cannot possibly see any darkness. When you are looking toward the Light, shadows fall behind you. The Light is within you, and as you learn to look within, you become radiant, because Light is a quality of mind and its essence is finding outlets through your mental faculties.” Myrtle Fillmore, How To Let God Help You, 108-9.

“To me, mindfulness is very much like the Holy Spirit. Both are agents of healing. When you have mindfulness, you have love and understanding, you see more deeply, and you can heal the wounds in your own mind.” Thich Nhat Hanh, Living Buddha, Living Christ, 14.

“Light does not remove darkness. Its presence proves that there is no darkness.” Joel Goldsmith, The Altitude of Prayer, 52.

“Humility is the solid foundation of all virtues.”
Confucius

“When the Buddha was asked, ‘Sir, what do you and your monks practice?’ he replied, ‘We sit, we walk and we eat.’… ‘But sir, everyone sits, walks, and eats,’… ‘When we sit, we know we are sitting. When we walk, we know we are walking. When we eat, we know we are eating.’” Thich Nhat Hanh, Living Buddha, Living Christ, 14.
